The full trailer for High School: The Musical: The Series season 3 previews the show’s take on Frozen. Set to consist of eight episodes, the third installment of HSMTMTS will move the characters away from the traditional East High location to follow along as they attend Camp Shallow Lake. At the family-owned resort, the ensemble will prepare to put on a summer production of the smash hit Frozen animated movie. It’s also teased that the group will experience a summer filled with romance and nights without curfew in the great outdoors, while also contending with their high-stakes production and a behind-the-scenes docuseries.
A previous teaser focused on High School Musical alum Corbin Bleu playing a meta version of himself. Now, with HSMTMTS season 3 set to make its Disney+ debut on July 27, a full trailer shows Gina (Sofia Wylie) and E.J. (Matt Cornett) taking center stage. Meanwhile, Ricky (Joshua Bassett) hilariously wonders if one of the Frozen characters is named Gary. And as for Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), she prepares for some big changes in her life. The trailer also reveals Jesse Tyler Ferguson and JoJo Siwa will be joining the show. You can check it out, along with an official poster, below.

In keeping with the changing setting, the main cast of High School: The Musical: The Series will likewise look different. Saylor Bell Curda and Adrian Lyles will debut as regulars, along with recurring guests Aria Brooks, Liamani Segura, and Ben Stillwell. Former regulars, including Rodrigo, will make guest appearances. Other former regulars, including Kate Reinders, Larry Saperstein, and Joe Serafini, will also appear as guests. Overall, it should be an exciting and eventful summer for fans of the streaming hit.
