Hot Wheels, the new expansion of Forza Horizon 5, features a new UI element known as “G-Forza,” a reticule that serves as a Roll Indicator or “Artificial Horizon” for the driver to visually see their vehicle’s rotation. This feature functions similarly to the turn coordinator seen on the flight instruments of an airplane’s cockpit, allowing the pilot to view the gyration of the aircraft while airborne.
Accordingly, the Hot Wheels DLC of Forza Horizon 5 contains a host of new tracks that are wildly different from the typical courses of Forza Horizon 5, with gravity-bending and highly engaging ramps, loop-de-loops, and super inclines for reaching extreme pinnacles of speed. With the new G-Forza, players will be able to keep track of their car’s gyrated position as the HUD reticule dynamically changes while driving on Hot Wheels tracks. Furthermore, drivers can trigger various skills based on their vehicle’s speed and tilt angle. This mechanic lets Forza Horizon 5 fans build up their skill by consistently tilting along the road while performing stunts and racking up massive amounts of G-Forza skills.
Nevertheless, some players may find G-Forza in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels intrusive or distracting from their usual clean view of their car. While there will be fans who prefer this Artificial Horizon HUD feature to be active, there will undoubtedly just as many who favor it to be toggled off. Fortunately, turning off the reticule does affect one’s ability to earn G-Forza skills. Instead, it only removes the visual indicator of their car’s tilt.
Turning Off The Artificial Horizon In Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels
Therefore, to turn off Artificial Horizon in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels, players must examine their in-game options. Follow the steps below to complete this process:
- Step 1: Open the Pause Menu while in-game.
- Step 2: Go to the “Campain” tab and select the “Settings” button on the bottom right of the window.
- Step 3: Within Settings, scroll down to Accessibility in Forza Horizon 5.
- Step 4: Scroll down to the last option at the bottom, called “Hot Wheels Roll Indicator.”
- Step 5: Toggle the option to be set to “Off” and save before exiting the Settings Menu
- Step 6: Close the Pause Menu to confirm that the Artificial Horizon reticule has been turned off in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels.
Later on, if the player would like to turn back on the Hot Wheels Roll Indicator in Forza Horizon 5 for a visual element while earning G-Forza skills, they can repeat the process above except ensuring the option is set to “On.”
