How to Share Fortnite Quests With Friends (Season 8)

One of the newest features in Fortnite Season 8: Cubed is the ability to share Quests with friends. Sharing a Quest with a friend completes the progress for everyone in the party, so playing with more friends means more Quests can be completed. Party Quests offer a variety of tasks for different players to complete together. Additionally, everyone contributes to everyone’s Party Quests, not just one quest at a time.

Sharing Fortnite Party Quests also lets partied players earn the rewards once that Party Quest is completed. Each player is able to acquire their own Party Quest, and Parties can have multiple of the same quest for everyone who grabs one. Additionally, players aren’t limited to just earning their own Quest rewards or the rewards just one time. Every time they complete a Party Quest, even if it’s one they already completed, they’ll earn the rewards. Party Quests can still be completed solo, but the whole point of the Party Quest is to gain help from other players to complete them.

Fortnite Party Quests are going to be a reoccurring item throughout Season 8. Speak with residents on Apollo Island to acquire new Party Quests. Each resident has their own Punch Card full of missions for players to assist with, including the Party Quests. New residents will continue to offer new cards and Party Quests as Season 8 continues. Additionally, Party Quests can be acquired by using Phone Booths on the Island.

Completing Fortnite Party Quests reward large quantities of Gold Bars. Gold Bars are a currency that is used to purchase items or services from various characters in Fornite. It’s a currency that players can use to purchase things like Weapons or Consumables, Hiring Characters as friendly AIs, and a few other in-game benefits. Gold Bars, however, cannot be earned and shared from competitive match to match, so the Gold Bars earned from Party Quests should be used in public matches. Any assists from AIs do not count towards Party Quest progress.

Season 8 of Fortnite is live now, and with its launch came a reset of every player’s Gold Bars. Get ahead of the competition by hopping into matches and complete Party Quests with friends. Additionally, Party Quests will tie in with the story of Fornite Season 8 as players either work with Dark Jonesy to uncover what’s really going on at the Kevolution facility or follow along with Charlotte to investigate the IO.

Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
