How To Make Your Own Playlist in Saints Row

How To Make Your Own Playlist in Saints Row

<

In past titles of the Saints Row series, the player could freely access and customize which songs play in their car, but the latest reboot requires that the Boss protagonist complete specific prerequisites to unlock the Playlist feature. Fortunately, the game is quite linear and straightforward to progress through, meaning that players should have this feature in Saints Row available in no time.

First, the Boss protagonist must progress far enough in the main story to receive the mission “The Fast and the Foodiest,” during which they will gain access to the Church. Once this mission has been completed, players will be rewarded with Cash, XP, new apparel, a Friend Weapon Upgrade, and the Playlist App. Unlike core mechanics or activities in the game, Saints Row does not provide the protagonist with a tutorial on how to use this in-game phone app. Such a lack of guidance might leave many fans wondering how they can open and modify their Playlist.

Thanks to YouTube content creator Bubbalove007, players can know how the Playlist App works in the Saints Row reboot and how they can make their own custom Playlist. To start, open the phone menu and select the target application at the bottom right of the mobile screen. The Playlist can be found between Collectibles and Sharing.

Making A Custom Playlist In Saints Row

After the Playlist App’s opening animation, the first menu that Saints Row fans will see will display Stations, Newscasts, and All Songs. If players wish to browse every track, then All Songs would be the best option. On the other hand, those looking for a specific song should select Stations for a more genre-related search. After opening a selection of songs, there will be three input options at the bottom of the list: “Back,” “Play,” and “Add.” Using the designated button for “Add,” choose the songs to be played in the custom Playlist.

Next, go back to the Stations customization menu in Saints Row and select “Custom,” which should be the top-left choice. Players can now listen to their personal Playlists as they roam the streets and deserts of Santo Ileso. One final detail to note is that fans might notice the number of available songs on their phone is somewhat limited. This is because new tracks in Saints Row become unlocked as players progress through the main storyline and complete missions. In other words, the more fans play the game, the more songs they will receive to put into their custom Playlist.

    Summary:
After almost a decade, the classic open-world game from Volition returns as Saints Row. This fifth entry acts as a soft reboot set in Santo Ileso, a fictional city modeled after Las Vegas, Nevada. A crime-ridden empire, Santo Ileso is inhabited by three gangs, the Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall Defense Industries. When the player, a former member of MDI, grows unsatisfied with how things are being handled in the city, they will join forces with three others that have also grown disillusioned with their employer’s view of the world. Together, this group of four will build up their gang, the Saints, as they dream it to be. Players will once again be able to fully customize their character to their liking and tackle the city how they want to while progressing through story-based missions. From cars to VTOLs, all of the staple Saints Row vehicular options also return, as well as the third-person shooting gameplay utilized in the first four entries.
