V Rising is a massive multiplayer online roleplaying game with a significant survival and crafting component. In this game, players take on the role of vampires as they wake up after being asleep for centuries. As they explore this new and harsh world in which the very sun is their enemy, they will come across various materials that will allow them to craft items, better equipment, and constructs for their castle. As with any crafting system, the one present in V Rising can sometimes prove daunting for new players, as the various combinations may not always seem obvious.
As players explore the land and experience the survival aspect of V Rising, they will find that many different regions present different types of materials. As such, some rare components can only be found in certain remote places, making the process of acquiring them rather troublesome. This is something very important to take into account early on as players are deciding where their base will be located.
Although Cotton can be harvested in V Rising, Cotton Yarn and Cloth must be made using specific tools and blueprints. These blueprints, like most in the game, are obtained by defeating certain enemies, in this case, Beatrice the Taylor. Beatrice can be found roaming in Dawnbreak Village, and although she isn’t a keen fighter, she will be surrounded by many villagers who can make for horrifying enemies in V Rising. Catching and defeating her can be quite challenging because after spotting danger Beatrice will begin running away and will not stop until she or the player character dies.
Where To Find Cotton In V Rising
To acquire Cotton in V Rising, players will need to travel to the Dunley Farmlands region, in which the Cotton Farms are located. To be able to harvest a Cotton plant, players will need to have at least Merciless Copper tools. Harvesting these plants has a chance to also provide players with a Cottonseed, which they can use to start their own Cotton farm back at their base.
How To Make Cotton Yarn And Cloth With The Loom In V Rising
To make Cotton Yarn and Cloth in V Rising, players will need to defeat Beatrice in order to loot the Loom Structure and the Cloth and Cotton Yarn recipes. Players must then construct the Loom back at their base in the open world of V Rising, and farm the necessary components to be able to use the recipes. Cotton Yarn will require players to provide 20 Cotton, while Cloth will require nine plant fibers and three pieces of leather.
