There are two new items introduced for the Obon Festival in Animal Crossing, the Cucumber Horse and the Eggplant Cow. These are considered Special Goods and will appear in the Nook Shopping Special Goods section from August 10th to August 16th. Each item will cost the player 500 Bells to purchase. Only 1 of these items will appear per day so players will need to return on 2 different days to collect them both.
Since Animal Crossing: New Horizons treats its seasonal events differently than previous entries, players will only have a limited time to grab these. It’s unknown if they will remain in the game after the event is over, even through time traveling methods. Make sure to grab them to avoid any future confusion.
