Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Anson Mount explains how anyone can achieve Captain Christopher Pike’s iconic hairstyle. Affectionately dubbed ‘Pike’s peak,’ the Captain of Strange New Worlds‘ ascendant hair has become one of his calling cards. Pike’s voluminous hair stands out and is in sharp contrast to Star Trek’s famous bald Captains like Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks), and even Chris’ commanding officer, Admiral Robert April (Adrian Holmes).
On Twitter/X, Anson Mount took time out from filming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 to answer a fan’s question about Captain Pike’s hair care routine, and Mount jokingly lists each of the key steps to get ‘Pike’s peak‘. Check out Anson’s post below:

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Is Filming Now
Strange New Worlds is in production in Toronto
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 began production in December after being delayed for 7 months due to the combined Writer’s Guild and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Producing director Chris Fisher helmed Strange New Worlds season 3’s premiere, which is “epic” according to Christina Chong, who plays Lt. La’an Noonien-Singh. Jordan Canning, who was in the director’s chair for Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 5, “Charades,” directed Strange New Worlds season 3, episode 2. Dan Liu, who directed Strange New Worlds season 1’s “Memento Mori” and season 2’s “Lost in Translation” is now directing Strange New Worlds season 3, episode 3. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 is expected to wrap filming sometime in May 2024, and then the long post-production process begins. As for when Strange New Worlds season 3 will premiere on Paramount+, the most likely time frame would be in 2025 as the centerpiece of Star Trek on Paramount+’s schedule. However, some audience members are anxious to see episodes of Strange New Worlds season 3 sometime in late 2024. Hopefully, the cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will continue to share fun updates on social media as they continue filming season 3.
