How to Find (& Craft) the Draco Meteor TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

How to Find (& Craft) the Draco Meteor TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

One of the best Dragon-type finisher Moves in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is Draco Meteor, a Special attack with 130 Power and 90 Accuracy that reduces the user’s Special Attack by two stages. Because the Move causes this debuff to its user, it best serves as a finishing blow on one’s opponent. Alternatively, Trainers can utilize this Dragon-type ability whenever they know its damage will one-shot the opposing pocket monster. Accordingly, Draco Meteor serves as an excellent tool for taking down enemies in the open world of Paldea or the PvP arena with other Trainers.

To unlock Draco Meteor and the ability to craft it, Trainers must first acquire its TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Typically, TMs can be found all throughout Paldea, obtainable by exploring the vast open-world spaces of the various regions. Some can also be earned through defeating Team Star Leaders or completing regional Battle League Rep challenges. On the other hand, there is only one sole method of unlocking the Draco Meteor TM. Players must confront and defeat the Team Star Founder Cassiopeia, also known as Penny.

How to Find (& Craft) the Draco Meteor TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To beat Penny and unlock the Draco Meteor TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players must understand how to defeat her “Eeveelution Team” of evolved Eevees. The battle will begin with Umbreon and end with Sylveon. Between these two, Trainers must face Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, and Leafeon. Although these Eevee evolutions are all high-level opponents, their singular elemental types make them quite easy to counter.

According to experienced users at Game8, the best team to defeat Penny’s elite team in Scarlet and Violet would be Baxcalibur, Gardevoir, and Gengar. Baxcalibur is the Pseudo-Legendary Ice Dragon Pokémon evolved from Frigibax and Arctibax, both of which inhabit Glaseado Mountain. Gardevoir is obtained from leveling Ralts and Kirlia, and Gengar is a Trade Evolution from Gastly and Haunter.

Once Penny has been defeated, she will reward the player protagonist with the Draco Meteor TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They can then craft the TM at a TM Machine in Paldea using the following materials:
