Starmie is a classic Pokemon that recently reappeared in Pokemon Sword & Shield. This guide will help players locate and capture this Pokemon. Pokemon Sword & Shield is one of the best-selling Nintendo Switch titles today. Starmie has been around in the series since Pokemon Red and Blue. This iconic Water-type Pokemon is most likely known due to its connection to the Pokemon anime. Misty, the second gym leader of the Kanto region and longest companion of series protagonist Ash Ketchum, has a Starmie in her team. As a Water-type gym leader, Misty’s entire team is comprised of only water-type Pokemon. Many Pokemon were previously cut from the base game to save development time and Starmie was one of those not fortunate enough to make the cut. That is until the release of the Isle of Armor DLC, where over 100 older Pokemon have made their grand debut in the Galar region. Here’s where players can find Starmie in Pokemon Sword & Shield.
