Cottonee is a Generation 5 (Black & White) Grass-/Fairy-type Pokémon that can be caught in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet in the Indigo Disk DLC. Other than starting the story, there are no additional requirements for obtaining this potential team member. Cottonee starts with a low Base Stat Total of only 280 but can evolve into the cute Whimsicott. While only having a 480 Base Stat Total, this Grass-/Fairy-type has a wide variety of moves that can change the tide of battle.
Despite its cute and innocent appearance, Whimsicott can hold its own in battles with its impressive speed and debilitating moves. If you are having trouble obtaining a Sun Stone, Whimsicott can be found in 4-star Tera Raid Battles in Scarlet and Violet as well.
