How To Enable Auto Pick Up In God of War: Ragnarök

God of War: Ragnarok, the sequel to the 2018 God of War, is the latest adventure of Kratos and his son, Atreus. Auto Pickup Allows Players Options When Interacting With Items

This option will enable Kratos to automatically pick various items upon approaching them. By default, this option is off, but there are three other settings: “Essentials,” “Economy,” and “Full.” The “Essentials” option will pick up only health and rage stones when needed. “Economy” will make it so that only hacksilver, resources, and loot items will be picked up automatically. Lastly, the “Full” option combines the first two options and automatically allows players to pick any items. This is just one of God of War Ragnarok’s accessibility features that can drastically improve the game’s experience for nearly all players.

This setting can be adjusted when the player first starts the game by choosing the “Guided Setup” option on the screen. From there, they can navigate to the last option on the screen for “Common Settings” and adjust it to their liking. However, when the player toggles this option, only “Off,” “Essentials,” and “Essentials+” will appear. “Essentials+” seems to be an incorrect term for “Full” at this time, as at the title settings screen, “Full” is the setting that was showing when choosing this option in the setup screen.
