How to Earn More Souls in Tribes of Midgard (The Easy Way)

In Tribes of Midgard, players become an Einherjar, a Viking hero, to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil from various fantastical enemies that threaten Midgard. In addition to choosing a character class and fighting threats like the Legions of Hel and Giants, or, Jötnar to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil, players must also participate in survival activities like gathering resources and mount offensive attacks against neighboring settlements to collect Souls for the Seed.

One of the key mechanics in Tribes of Midgard requires the Einherjar to feed Souls to the Seed of Yggdrasil to sustain its life source. Souls operate as the main currency in Tribes of Midgard, and players can get them from almost any in-game activity, from mining and selling unwanted items to ransacking enemy camps and defeating monsters and Jötnar. This guide details how players can get more Souls in Tribes of Midgard more quickly.

Tribes of Midgard: How To Get More Souls (The Easy Way)

How to Earn More Souls in Tribes of Midgard (The Easy Way)

Souls are the primary currency in Tribes of Midgard used to upgrade class skills, items, and villages, and to keep the Seed of Yggdrasil alive. Souls are gathered through normal gameplay activities such as mining, foraging, cutting trees, and most importantly, killing enemies. Players will gain Souls regularly throughout normal endeavors in Tribes of Midgard, so it’s important to get involved to earn more. Players should gather as many resources as possible and kill every enemy that poses a reasonable challenge.

If players want to streamline their Souls intake, the best way to do so is by attacking enemy camps. There are three different sizes of camp, with larger camps containing more Souls to harvest. However, the larger camps also contain a witch that players must defeat to gather the camp’s Souls. For this reason, it’s a bit tough for beginner players to take on the larger camps. These players should instead focus on the small and medium camps to farm the most Souls possible. On the way to and from the various camps, players can forage resources to earn even more Souls.

To take on the larger camps, and potentially high-level bosses, players will need to use some Souls to upgrade their skills. Without the proper skill levels and item loadouts, players will face intense obstacles during the conquest of large camps. Basically, in Tribes of Midgard, players must spend Souls to make Souls. Even though players have the option to spend all their Souls on upgrades, Souls need to be set aside for the Seed of Yggdrasil, as that is the main objective of Tribes of Midgard.

Tribes of Midgard is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
