Taz-Nado, also referred to as Taz’s Tornado is a Special Side Move in MultiVersus during which Taz spins forward in a wild tornado, striking enemies multiple times. When executed in the air, this Special Side Move does not act differently. Nevertheless, dealing with Taz-Nado can be incredibly challenging and frustrating since Taz users tend to spam this Special move repeatedly during a fight. This Special attack in MultiVersus will stunlock those who get stuck inside its “death zone.” Moreover, Taz’s Tornado will cause players to repeatedly flinch while taking damage, eventually ending in the user being rung out from the arena.
Accordingly, understanding how to counter Taz’s Tornado in MultiVersus is essential to defeating the iconic Tasmanian Devil. Keep in mind that the entire tornado counts as Taz’s hitbox, meaning that any attacks done to the whirling funnel will affect the Taz player. Additionally, attacking with a downward aerial attack is also an effective counter, but players will need to find a way to get above Taz before executing this more complex technique.
Finally, the easiest way to interrupt Taz’s Tornado in MultiVersus is by using a ranged attack or hurling a projectile at Taz. For instance, Batman’s Batarang will interrupt Taz-Nado, and Superman’s ranged Ice Breath can cause Taz to become frozen. In other words, every character in MultiVersus has some form of attack that can potentially counter Taz’s Tornado. Naturally, some units will be more effective than others; therefore, it’s essential to understand and learn every character’s basic moveset to properly counter Taz-Nado in MultiVersus.
