How To Complete The Adventurous Moles Quest In Honkai: Star Rail

In Honkai: Star Rail, players looking for more things to do on Jarilo IV should finish The Adventurous Moles side quest. After completing the boss battle between the Main Character and Cocolia, players have missions to finish that focus on traveling between Belobog and The Underworld. Further requirements for this quest are reaching Trailblaze level 24 and finishing Hook’s Companion Quest. Finally, after unlocking all the requirements needed, players can talk to Julian in Boulder Town, who will initiate the mission by giving the Main Character a note based on the trio’s favorite book.

Like many of the quests given by children or older people in Honkai: Star Rail, make sure to read the text as they give many clues. To complete this quest, the author in the game states, “If you follow the clues in the table of contents, you can find the corresponding locations…” Players can refer back to the notes given to them by Julian by opening up their item’s tab and finding the titles: “The Adventurous Moles: Hidden Treasure – Table of Contents” and “The Adventurous Moles: Hidden Treasure – Preface.“

Part 1: The Missing Miner’s Lamp

The first stop on the hunt for the treasure of The Adventurous Moles is located in The Great Mine map, where players can also farm for Ancient Parts in Honkai: Star Rail. Next, click on the Overlook Space Anchor, then go up the hill to find a barrel with the missing page. Give it a read, close it, then turn around to find a small passage with three miner’s lamps on a fence. Please pick up the fourth lamp on the box in front of the character, place it on the wall, and the first treasure chest will appear. Next, head back to Julian, who will then ask the player to find the remaining treasures based on the storybook’s table of contents.

Part 2: The Unexpected Parchment

The next part of The Adventurous Moles quest requires the player to go to the map of the Backwater Pass. First, find the Space Anchor called Transport Hub and teleport there. Then, in the opposite direction of one of Honkai: Star Rail‘s Stagnant Shadows, make a right and continue until the player reaches an open-air café. Once near the café, turn around again to find a bench against a wall with the missing page called The Unexpected Parchment; a mission will trigger in the area.

After reading the missing page, head over to the tables and chairs of the café. Place the chair that sits on the top of the table on the ground upright to find another treasure chest.

Part 3: The Crates Are the Keys

Next, the player will go to Rivet Town by teleporting to the Abandoned Market Space Anchor. Turn around to find a dark corner with a table and barrels; for some players, a chest is also located there. Find the page and then head to the shelves in the area, one with four boxes and one with two boxes. Bring one of the boxes from the shelf with four boxes to the shelf with two boxes and create an upside-down “L” shape. Do the same with the other shelf, and the next treasure chest will appear.

Part 4: Treasure Hunt on the Battlefield

The next step of the quest will take the player to the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone map in Honkai: Star Rail. Click on the Frontline Space Anchor to look for the next task. On the wall to the right, there will be another missing page of the book. It hints that the player should place three guns on each of the gun racks from the area. Put the guns that are close by on the racks, and a treasure chest will appear. The racks are found in the corners of the weapon-littered maze. After opening the chest, return to Julian with the missing pages, and he will give the player the postscript.

Part 5: Postface

The final step in The Adventurous Moles Quest takes the Main Character to the Administrative District where Nika, the Publishing House Editor, is located. From the Map interface, click on the Central Plaza Space Anchor and look forward. Walk up to Nika, who will talk about literature, and then give the player the option to say, “I collected all The Adventurous Moles…”. She agrees that the childhood favorite story should be published, and then the player is given the final reward raising the Trailblaze Level in Honkai: Star Rail.
