Monarch Intel is an earnable currency in the Operation Monarch Event for Call of Duty: Warzone used for acquiring upgrades and rewards such as Killstreaks, Loadout Drops, and the S.C.R.E.A.M. Device. Players will also need this Intel to complete challenges during the event to earn XP to obtain the unique, time-limited prizes. To collect Monarch Intel, combatants can kill enemy players, fulfill contracts, open loot crates, or deal damage to the featured Titans, Godzilla and King Kong.
Warzone fans can view how much Monarch Intel they’ve collected and upcoming correlating rewards by checking the value and vertical progress bar on the right side of the screen. Whenever players slay other players or loot a crate, the Intel will physically appear on the ground as an interactable item. On the other hand, firing at the Titans or completing a contract will only display how much Intel was gained. Nevertheless, every time a combatant acquires Intel, they will receive a temporary speed boost called Overdrive. Players can use this buff to traverse the map faster or perform more effectively in combative PvP situations.
One way to quickly collect Monarch Intel early on in Warzone Operation Monarch is by acquiring a supply Buy Station to purchase a Precision Airstrike. While the airstrike can be used on either Godzilla or Kong, players are advised to choose Godzilla since the radioactive lizard tends to remain stationary compared to the king ape. This technique is an excellent tactic for earning a large amount of Intel within a short period of time.
Collecting Monarch Intel In Warzone Event
The next method of efficiently earning Monarch Intel in Warzone is through high-burst DPS loadouts with weaponry such as the Cooper Carbine or recently introduced Nikita AVT. Although these guns won’t deal as much damage as an LMG, their incredible “beaming” firepower enables players to gain Intel swiftly without too much trouble.
The most superior yet tricky strategy of collecting Monarch Intel is mounting an anti-craft turret. These can be found in camps and atop vehicles. These guns are free of resource-cost to use and require little effort. The only issue would be finding one located in a safe spot in Warzone. Stationary turrets are riskier since the player is unable to avoid attacks from the Titans or enemy players. Mobile turrets on trucks are optimal but require a driver to get around quickly. Alternatively, the player can continuously switch between the gun and driver’s seat, yet this method can become demanding for the average player. Nevertheless, this method can net players up to 500 Monarch Intel per match if executed properly, allowing them to complete the event’s Intel challenge within roughly six games.
