Facebook users who want to check if someone is not following them on the platform can do this quite easily. When a person is added as a user’s Facebook friend, they automatically become their follower. In addition, users can allow people who aren’t their friends to follow them on Facebook by selecting ‘Public‘ in the ‘Who Can Follow Me‘ privacy setting. Generally, a user’s Facebook friends have more access to their profile, including their posts and photos, while followers might have a more restricted view of only their public posts and information.
Provided a user has allowed people who aren’t their friends follow them on Facebook, they can view a list of their followers on the Facebook website. To do this, open Facebook in a browser. Next, go to the Facebook profile and click on the ‘Friends‘ tab under the profile picture. Click on ‘Followers‘ to see the list of followers, or use the search bar to look up a name. If an account doesn’t have any followers, the ‘Followers‘ option will not be visible. Accounts a user has ignored or rejected as a friend may show up in their followers list. Users can block them to remove them as a follower.

Check Who Unfriended You On Facebook
If a user wants to check who unfriended them on Facebook, they can do this on both the website and app. To check this on the Facebook website, open the profile and click on ‘Friends.’ Look through the list of friends or search for a name. To check the list of friends on the Facebook app, tap the ‘Friends‘ tab at the bottom and tap ‘Your Friends‘ at the top of the page. Use the search bar to look for a specific person. If the person is not in the friends list, they’ve probably unfriended the user.
It’s worth noting that if an account has been deleted on Facebook, it might not show up as a friend or follower. To verify this, search for the account on Facebook and see if it shows up. If not, the account may have been deleted, which explains why it doesn’t appear in the friends and followers list. Accounts a user has blocked will not show up on their friends or followers list either.
Like most other social media apps, Facebook doesn’t notify users if they’ve been unfriended or unfollowed for privacy reasons. As a result, users can’t view a list of people who have unfriended or unfollowed them. Facebook‘s search function solves this problem though, provided users know which accounts to look for.
