Though Griselda Blanco is best known for being a drug lord, she was also a mother to four sons. Their names are Dixon, Uber, Osvaldo Trujillo-Blanco, and Michael Corleone Blanco. Dixon, Uber, and Osvaldo were all born to Griselda and her first husband, Carlos Trujillo. Griselda’s third marriage to contract killer Dario Sepulveda led to the birth of her fourth son, Michael Corelone. The three eldest sons were actively involved in their mother’s criminal enterprises, which ended up costing them greatly.

Dixon Blanco

Dixon is often cited as the reason his mother’s crime empire came crashing down. A man named Gerry Gomez was willing to turn the Blanco family in order to get a lighter sentence for his own crimes. Gomez was asked to get in contact with Dixon, where Dixon asked him to launder money for him. This eventually ended up leading the authorities to Griselda. Dixon was later arrested and has reportedly since died.

Uber Blanco

Griselda explains that Uber Blanco was shot and killed in Columbia while he was making a drug deal. It is unconfirmed if this was how he actually died or if the show fabricated this detail. In 2012, it was reported by CBS News that all three sons of Griselda’s oldest sons were killed in retribution for their mother’s crimes, so Uber did, indeed, die.

Osvaldo Trujillo-Blanco

Osvaldo Trujillio-Blanco was killed outside of a Columbia nightclub in 1992. He, like his two older brothers, paid the price for their mother’s criminal activity.

Michael Corleone Blanco

Griselda’s fourth and youngest child is the only one of the brothers who is still alive. He starred in the VH1 reality series, Cartel Crew, which followed family members of infamous drug cartels in Miami. He got married in 2021 and has a daughter named faith. He also thanked his wife on Instagram for caring for his sons, indicating he has multiple children.

Michael is not happy with Griselda and has made his feelings known in the court of law. He and his wife filed a lawsuit against Sofia Vergara and Netflix in Florida’s Miami-Dade County. They allege that the series and its promotional materials utilize unauthorized images and likeness of their family members. They also claim that the show’s producers used recorded conversations with Michael to form the show and that he was not compensated for this.
