Players who focus solely on the story may manage to rush through the game and finish up within 50 hours; although, realistically, that number is probably going to be a lot higher.
It’s easy to get distracted in Pioneers of Olive Town, and as with previous Story of Seasons games, players can sink an incredible number of hours into the game without really trying. Even getting distracted by a simple request could tack on another ten hours to the total playtime, which is why it’s difficult to say just how long the story actually is. An improved marriage system in SoS and added exploration means there’s even more players will likely want to do.
Most people who play Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town probably won’t be in a hurry to get through the game’s story. This series, after all, is about relaxation and fun more than plot. Realistically, most people may finish up the story around the 70-hour mark. Although, it’s easy to play the game for well over 100 hours without even really trying.
