During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle Beauvais brought up former cast member Lisa Vanderpump’s, name and the other ladies had a strong reaction to hearing it. Lisa was an OG of RHOBH and was arguably one of the biggest stars from the show until her abrupt departure during season 9. The Vanderpump Rules star found herself in the middle of the much-talked about “Puppygate” scandal, which led to her co-stars accusing her of leaking information to the press. Lisa adamantly denied it, and when she found herself feeling attacked, she quit RHOBH mid-season and refused to show up to the reunion.
Since Lisa’s dramatic exit from RHOBH, her friendships with Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and Lisa Rinna, was never repaired. Garcelle, who joined during RHOBH season 10, missed the whole Puppygate drama and never got to meet Lisa through the show. However, they struck up a friendship in 2021 during Lisa’s event at her bar, TomTom. Garcelle casually mentioned that her son Oliver was looking for a job, and Lisa invited him to work for her at her new Las Vegas restaurant, cementing their new bond.
For over three seasons, Lisa has become she-who-must-not-be-named in RHOBH. However, in a recent episode, Garcelle told the other housewives that Oliver had landed a great job for someone they knew. When they asked who it was, Garcelle announced, “Lisa Vanderpump.” Rinna shrieked, “WHAT?!” and then laid herself down dramatically on the floor. Dorit proceeded to tell Garcelle the best route home, which was “up the mountains.” Erika dryly commented, “I’m gonna up my Lexapro.”
RHOBH fan Madam Housewives commented on Twitter, “You know LVP made an impact when these little girls are still bothered by her name 3 seasons later after she quit.” Michelle agreed, writing, “LVP lives rent free in their heads….” Many fans believe LVP was the reigning queen of RHOBH and want her back on the show. Others think Lisa will never return as a cast member after her castmates turned against her as a group and would only return if most of the cast was gone. RHOBH fans are tired of the other remaining OG, Kyle, who has been accused of being fake and using others for her storyline. They would love it if Kyle left and Lisa was to return to RHOBH.
It is very unlikely that Lisa will return as a housewife, especially with her many other projects. Despite rumors of Vanderpump Rules being canceled, season 10 has been confirmed by Bravo. Lisa is also keeping busy with her restaurant SUR and PUMP, as well as TomTom, whom she owns with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz from VPR. Still, fans can’t forget the impact Lisa had on RHOBH, and it seems that the current stars can’t stop talking about her as well.
