A new poster for The Boys season 4 shows Homelander vowing to “Make America Super Again,” hinting at his role in the upcoming season. The leader of the Seven spent season 3 taking control of Vought, becoming a menacing figure for everyone left in the company. This culminated in him killing a Starlight supporter in public, something he’ll be going on trial for in the upcoming episodes.
Now, The Boys has released a new poster ahead of The Boys season 4 release, featuring Homelander promising to “Make America Super Again.”
This poster hints at a more hands-on approach for him in the presidential election moving forward. It also hints at just how public his trial as a Supe will be, possibly hinting at him using it for political gain.
The Boys Season 4 Will Feature Homelander At His Most Dangerous
When he killed a Starlight supporter at the end of The Boys season 3, he did so in front of both his son, Ryan, and a crowd of his supporters. The mass of people were surprised at first but ended up cheering for him, showing that, even after comitting a murder, people would still support him. Since he has a deal with Victoria Neuman to help her gain political power, he’ll likely use his support to vouch for her and presidential candidate Robert Singer.
However, since he will be on trial for murder, it may threaten his legal position as leader of the Seven. Given his deteriorating sanity and the public support for his psychopathic tendencies, he could do something destructive because of his legal issues. This could explain why Homelander is covered in blood in the season 4 trailer – the aftermath of a murderous decision spurred on by what happens to him in the season.
Since it seems he’ll be growing more involved in politics during season 4, his trial could impact Victoria’s campaign for power. This may split voters among those who believe Homelander did nothing wrong, and those who recognize him as a monster for his crimes. The Boys season 4 will no doubt be exploring this timely topic with a mixture of both humor and horror as the Supe supremacist keeps trying to garner support.
