Hogwarts Legacy: Which House Would You Be In According To Your Zodiac Sign

Hogwarts Legacy: Which House Would You Be In According To Your Zodiac Sign

Zodiac signs and Hogwarts Legacy Houses can both say a lot about a player’s personality, so it’s unsurprising that the two are distinctly connected. Neither of these groupings entirely defines a witch or a wizard, of course; for example, not all Slytherins are evil, and not all Virgos are obsessed with organization, either. However, both can often provide an accurate suggestion of a person’s intrinsic traits, even ones that they might not be aware of. So, even though Professor Shah might look down on astrology in Hogwarts Legacy, it can be worth comparing the twelve zodiac signs and the Hogwarts Houses.

Unlike astrological signs, and in contrast to canon Harry Potter tradition, players can freely choose which House to join in the wizarding world RPG. This decision doesn’t have a massive impact on gameplay – unless they choose to go with Hogwarts Legacy‘s best House, that is – but it’s nonetheless an immersive way for students to show off their personalities and values in-game. With the clear correlations between zodiac signs and Hogwarts Houses, though, players might consider joining the faction that best aligns with their real-life astrological sign.

12 Aries: Gryffindor

Aries are known to be brave, optimistic, and passionate, making them a textbook definition of House Gryffindor in Hogwarts Legacy. They tend to crave action, drama, and most of all, a challenge – and so they’d likely find themselves sacrificing their schoolwork to sneak around the school at night, uncovering its most exciting secrets. Plus, with their natural leadership abilities, Aries in Gryffindor would make for strong Quidditch players. Of all students, they’d likely be the most vocal protesters over Headmaster Black’s unfair cancelation of Quidditch.

11 Taurus: Hufflepuff

Tauruses, on the other hand, value stability and comfort, making them a perfect match for Hufflepuff. Although their House exclusive quest in Hogwarts Legacy is the most action-packed, Hufflepuffs are known to be rather passive: something which Tauruses may relate to, because they often hate change. However, in both cases, this steadfastness is far from a sign of weakness. As Hufflepuffs, Tauruses would likely be consistent students with a solid understanding of magic, as well as some of the most loyal and reliable friends in Hogwarts Legacy.

10 Gemini: Slytherin

A close-up of Sebastian Sallow, a Slytherin student in Hogwarts Legacy, wearing his school robes and looking to his left.

Being represented by the twins, Geminis often have an unfair reputation for having two “faces” or “personalities.” This could be true for some, but it’s not ultimately why they belong in Slytherin. At their core, Geminis are social butterflies who are highly curious, quick to adapt, and extremely intelligent – and this would make them feel right at home among Slytherin’s similarly ambitious and resourceful crowd. Geminis in Slytherin would be well-liked among their friends, rather popular, and likely the favorite student of many professors, too. If they choose to be dark wizards in Hogwarts Legacy, their ability to manipulate others would make them nearly unstoppable.

9 Cancer: Ravenclaw

Cancers are wise, intuitive, and the most emotionally intelligent out of all the zodiac signs, which firmly places them in Ravenclaw. Although their high capacity for empathy might make them a bit more sensitive than others, their creative nature would make them successful students who are capable of anything they set their minds to. In Hogwarts Legacy, Cancers in Ravenclaw would be caring friends who provide a shoulder to lean on. Other students may come to them for help on their schoolwork, but also with their personal troubles and conflicts.

8 Leo: Gryffindor

Leos are represented by the lion – which is already an obvious connection to Gryffindor – but it’s ultimately their personalities that make them a great match for this iconic Harry Potter House. Those born under this zodiac sign are said to be confident, humorous, and most importantly, not afraid to be the center of attention. As Gryffindors, Leos would be the life of the party, capable of getting a laugh out of everyone, even during the most inappropriate moments. Plus, since they tend to take great pride in their appearance, they’d be strong candidates for “best dressed” in Hogwarts Legacy, too.

7 Virgo: Ravenclaw

Virgos, who are known to be analytical, practical, and detail-oriented, would undoubtedly belong to Ravenclaw in Hogwarts Legacy. Since they often value logic and reasoning over feelings, they’d make for some of the most hard-working and overachieving students in the entirety of the school. Their all-work-no-play attitude might cause them to gain a reputation as know-it-alls or teacher’s pets, but when it comes time to study for the O.W.Ls, Ravenclaw Virgos would likely become quite popular among Hogwarts Legacy‘s students.

6 Libra: Hufflepuff

A close-up shot of Poppy Sweeting in Hogwarts Legacy looking angry.

Libras are passionate about balance and keeping the peace, so students born under this zodiac sign would feel right at home in House Hufflepuff. Their passion for justice makes them strong leaders who are willing to fight for what they believe in, as much as they dislike conflict and value their social relationships. Libras in Hufflepuff would likely be focused on dismantling the poaching rings and other wizarding world injustices, much like Poppy Sweeting. Thanks to their charismatic nature, they’d also be able to recruit supporters for the cause along the way, even though Hufflepuff is still the most hated House in Hogwarts Legacy.

5 Scorpio: Slytherin

A Slytherin student in Hogwarts Legacy touches a book that begins floating.

Above all else, Scorpios are ambitious and assertive folk who are determined to learn the truth behind everything, which sounds a lot like some iconic Slytherins. They can be passionate to a fault, with their pursuit of knowledge often taking priority and causing them to be distrustful of others. Much like Sebastian Sallow, Scorpios in Slytherin would be susceptible to using the dark arts in an effort to achieve their goals. Their ends-justify-the-means attitude might cause them to be disliked among some of their peers, but in exchange, they’d probably be some of the most knowledgeable and powerful students around the school.

4 Sagittarius: Gryffindor

Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy. A player character walking into the room. Lots of students milling about. A globe, sofas, rugs, and lots of red tones.

Sagittariuses tend to be blunt, altruistic, and always ready for an adventure, which would easily land them in House Gryffindor. They crave independence and freedom, sparking a love of the outdoors and a tendency to be lone wolves. In Hogwarts Legacy, Sagittariuses belonging to Gryffindor would probably be overly brave and eager to explore dangerous areas, like the Forbidden Forest. This would more than likely make them regulars at the Infirmary wing, but admired among other students nonetheless.

3 Capricorn: Slytherin

Capricorns are known to be the most responsible and serious of the zodiac signs, much like Slytherin’s Ominius Gaunt. Although they can be a bit closed-off, it’s all part of the bigger picture, as Capricorns value their future and success more than anything else. As Hogwarts Legacy students, they would have no qualms in turning down a trip to Hogsmeade or a get-together with their friends if it jeopardized their academic performance. Such discipline would undoubtedly be lauded among Hogwarts Legacy‘s professors.

2 Aquarius: Ravenclaw

A Ravenclaw student NPC players can talk to in Hogwarts Legacy.

Aquariuses are known to be one-of-a-kind, often standing out from the rest of the crowd (whether it’s in a good or bad way). Their complicated nature, alongside their love for intellectual topics, would make them certain Ravenclaws in Hogwarts Legacy. As Ravenclaws, Aquariuses would probably have a small, loyal group of friends, who they hold deep and philosophical conversations with on a regular basis. Their eccentric personalities might land them in some odd situations though, as seen with Zenobia and her Gobstones quest in Hogwarts Legacy.

1 Pisces: Hufflepuff

Hufflepuff Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy. A look at the room from above. Lots of plants hanging from the ceiling, a large room with some students on sofas and chairs. Lots of wood and yellow and green tones.

Pisces are the warmest and most compassionate out of the astrological signs, so it wouldn’t make sense to place them anywhere other than Hufflepuff. They value genuine one-on-one connections, and on top of that, they’re always ready to lend a helping hand, which can unfortunately cause them to be taken advantage of at times. Pisces in Hufflepuff would be friends with practically everyone, never quite being alone. Since they’re highly empathetic and in tune with their emotions, they might gravitate towards art, music, or other creative subjects in Hogwarts Legacy.
