As a crucial ingredient in Wiggenweld Potion, Dittany Leaves are one of the most important potion ingredients featured in Hogwarts Legacy. Like many other potion ingredients, this magical healing herb can be bought from vendors or grown from seeds, allowing you to create a sustainable source to use to replenish your stocks of Wiggenweld Potion. However, to do this, you need to have attended their first Herbology class with Professor Garlick and have unlocked the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Castle. This gives you an all-purpose workshop where they can show off their green fingers.

Every potion recipe in Hogwarts Legacy has its own set of ingredients that you can obtain, whether it’s buying directly from vendors, defeating certain enemy types, or growing them from seeds. Dittany leaves can be bought from Timothy Teasdale at The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade for 100 Galleons. Alternatively, you can also plant the dittany seeds obtained from Herbology lessons. Although buying leaves directly is convenient, you should definitely consider planting your own if you are planning to brew lots of Wiggenweld Potion.

How To Find Dittany Leaves In Hogwarts Legacy

According to DibuckTV on Youtube, once you have bought dittany seeds, you should head back to the Room of Requirement. Here, you can use Conjuration to create a potting station, which allows you to plant dittany seeds. You can use a small planter to grow dittany leaves, unlike certain other herbs, such as Fluxweed Stem, which require large planters in Hogwarts Legacy. As such, you don’t need to worry about buying the medium and large potting station spellcrafts at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade.

This way, you can quickly gather lots of dittany leaves which can then be brewed at a Potions station to create Wiggenweld Potion. Wiggenweld Potion is a key healing item, and although it can be bought, you will hopefully be able to save Galleons by brewing your own.

It’s worth noting that you will need to get extra Horklump Juice for Wiggenweld Potion, which can be bought for cheap from J. Pippin’s Potions in the southern part of Hogsmeade or found out in the wild. Putting the two ingredients together to create the potion will help players survive Hogwarts Legacy’s challenging magical duels.
