The full roadmap for the sixth season of Hitman 3‘s post-launch content – Seven Deadly Sins: Envy – has been revealed, including a rubber ducky skin for the Hackl Covert sniper rifle. The Season of Envy is part of Hitman 3: Seven Deadly Sins, a seven-part DLC expansion collection which takes place after the base game. It comes with an entirely new season of free content, introducing new cosmetics, items, elusive targets, contracts, bonus missions, and more. Hitman 3‘s Season of Gluttony recently wrapped up its fifth season, and the Season of Envy has now officially launched.
Following Hitman 3‘s commercial success, an episodic expansion called Seven Deadly Sins was revealed for the sandbox stealth game. The individual seasons offer content packs themed around the eponymous seven deadly sins and take place within Agent 47’s bizarre dreams, embodied by his consciousness telling him to complete missions embrace each DLC’s sin. Starting with Greed in April and followed by Pride, Sloth, Lust, Gluttony and now Envy, each expansion has included distinctive contracts, sin-themed suits, and new weapon cosmetics.
IO Interactive has officially laid out Season of Envy’s roadmap and exhibited everything that will be available in the sixth season of Hitman 3‘s Seven Deadly Sins this month. Beginning with The Envy Contention Escalation DLC, players will be able to unlock the sin-themed Odium suit, the cat-shaped Jaeger 7 Green Eye sniper rifle, and the Cat’s Claw knife by competing against a rival “assassin” and killing targets in specific ways in Mendoza. Continuing the roadmap, two new elusive targets have also been revealed. The Ascensionist will be available in Dubai from October 1st to October 11th, while the other elusive target, The Bookkeeper in Colorado will be available from October 15 – 25. Following Colorado, which is the free location for this season’s rotation, the first three new featured contracts will be developed by IO Interactive and will return later in the season by the Hitman community.
Committed Hitman players who complete 60 of these featured contracts throughout the season will be rewarded with the rubber ducky skin, an exclusive cosmetic for the Hackl Convert sniper rifle, that players can show off. Additionally, two more weapons and a suit are also available to be unlocked. The Claw Hammer, the Jaeger 7 Convert sniper rifle, and the Rave On Suit can be obtained by completing challenges in Dartmoor and Berlin.
Envy is the sixth chapter of Hitman 3‘s seven-part Seven Deadly Sins expansion and can be purchased individually for $5 or as a part of the entire collection for $30 starting September 28. With the Hitman 3 Envy DLC now revealed, IO has one more season of sin to showcase before possibly shifting their center of attention onto its non-Hitman game, Project 007. Until then, players can jump into the new Season of Envy and experience Agent 47 struggle against his envious mind in another chaotic dream sequence.
