Hitman 3: Berlin’s 10 Hardest Challenges To Complete

Hitman 3: Berlin’s 10 Hardest Challenges To Complete

Some of the most memorable levels from across the Hitman franchise take place in nightclubs, and Hitman 3‘s Berlin level is no exception to this trend. Agent 47 must travel to Berlin’s Club Hölle, a former nuclear power plant and current rave space, in order to eliminate as many ICA agents as possible to prevent them from interrupting his rendezvous with Olivia Hall.

Just like the game’s other levels, Berlin provides a number of challenges for players looking to find new and creative approaches to the level, as well as those just wanting to test their hard-earned skills after tons of practice. From creative assassinations to movie-inspired run-throughs, these challenges are the toughest at Club Hölle.

Crane Trauma

Hitman 3: Berlin’s 10 Hardest Challenges To Complete

For this challenge, players will need to take out Agent Thames (one of the ten potential targets in this level) with a crane, one of many “accidents” available in Berlin. This kill isn’t necessarily difficult to pull off, but it does take some time and patience to set up.

First, players will need to find a fuse cell near the club’s back entrance before heading over to the crane and installing it, preferably without being seen tampering with the fuse box. Once this is all in place, though, it’s just a matter of time before Agent Thames meets his construction-based demise.

Herr Ziegler Plus One

Herr Ziegler Plus One - Agent 47 Waiting To Get Into The Club

One of the ways to access Club Hölle is to get Agent 47 onto the club’s guest list, and that is the goal of the Herr Ziegler Plus One challenge. Players will need to be in the know about who they need to talk to in order to get on the list, though, before they can complete this challenge.

From the bus stop entrance to the mission, players must first locate the bag of medicine near the club’s parking lot and then bring it to the right man. Once this is done, though, Agent 47 will have a smooth ride into the club in order to carry out the rest of his mission there.

Drive It Home

Drive It Home - Agent 47 Aiming At An Agent

This challenge asks players to add a little extra to their mission requirements. The primary Berlin mission has players taking out five of the ten ICA agents at Club Hölle, but this challenge has them taking out at least one more agent after the remainder begin evacuating the premises.

Keeping a low profile is probably the most difficult element here, as the targets will be trying to escape the rave through the crowds of club-goers throughout the map. Further, identifying these agents may be a challenge, but stealing an earpiece will be helpful, as well as paying close attention to see who is evacuating and who isn’t.

The 47th Trick In The Book/Rule Of Threes

Rule Of Threes - Agent 47 In Front Of Radio Tower With Sniper Rifle

To accomplish The 47th Trick In The Book, players must steal Agent Tremaine’s sniper rifle and use it to kill him, a task that seems simple but will require some stealth and sharpshooting skills to complete. After locating Agent Tremaine and sneakily grabbing his rifle, players can go in guns blazing but may want to take a step back first.

For a stealthy run, players will have to know a safe place with a good view of Tremaine to take the sniper rifle before pulling the trigger. Luckily, a nearby radio tower provides a perfect vantage point to shoot Tremaine. Shooting two more agents from the tower will also net players the Rule Of Threes task.

How The Turntables

How The Turntables - Agent 47 At DJ Booth

The cacophony of light and sound makes the finale of Club Hölle’s DJ light show the perfect time to execute a kill, and this challenge has players carrying out two. To take out both Agent Montgomery and Agent Banner, players will need to prep a light installation near them to short circuit.

Not only will that prep require some stealth, but the ultimate deed will require impeccable timing. Agent 47 can disguise himself as a DJ and take over the set for the previous one, waiting until Montgomery and Banner are near each other and the rigged installation to trigger the grand finale and shock two birds with one stone.

Chameleon

Chameleon - Agent 47 Approaching Florida Man

As usual, the Chameleon challenge requires players to put on every disguise available in each level. For Berlin, this presents a unique challenge, as many of the level’s ten costumes only occur on one or a few characters across the map, demanding patience and attention to detail from players.

Luckily, many of these disguises are also linked to other challenges and mission objectives, meaning that many players will find them just by playing through and experimenting. That said, players hunting down Florida Man to steal his outfit may find some frustration along the way.

There Was A Fire Fight

There Was A Fire Fight - Agent 47 Hiding Behind Table

For this challenge, Agent 47 must confront ICA Agent Montgomery, leading to an epic shootout in his office that really puts pressure on the player. Plus, setting up this meeting will take a little fine-tuning, as knowledge of the level is key.

First, players have to disguise themselves as Hirschmüller, the owner of the club, in order to get into the meeting with Agent Montgomery. Once in the meeting, things will start to go sideways, as the ICA agents will know that Agent 47 isn’t Hirschmüller. That’s supposed to happen, though, as players will be prompted to kick over the table at a certain point and start a firefight, which they will need to conquer to accomplish this feat.

T-47

T-47 - Agent 47 In Biker Disguise

Agent 47 brings out his inner Terminator in this challenge, requiring that players confront Agent Montgomery, as in the There Was A Fire Fight challenge, but also complete a few extra steps along the way. First, players will need to wear a biker disguise, which they need to keep nearby, as the Hirschmüller disguise is needed to initiate the meeting in the first place.

Once the shooting starts, Agent 47 has to take the shotgun in the room and use it to take out all of the agents there in the biker disguise. From here, it’s simply a matter of taking the motorcycle exit from the level, creating a very familiar scene for fans of the Terminator movies, and one that is well worth the effort.

Concrete Ornithology

Concrete Ornithology - Bird Graffiti As Seen Through Camera

One of the least violent challenges in all of Hitman 3, Concrete Ornithology requires players to snap pictures of seven pieces of bird graffiti hidden around the level. These painted birds can be found all over the map, so players will have to have patience in order to find them all.

This challenge is made even more difficult with the rest of the level’s obstacles active. Although it won’t make the challenge easy, getting the right disguise and taking out all of the ICA agents first will at least provide players with the opportunity to search the club without worrying about being compromised or getting attacked.

Silent Assassin, Suit Only

Silent Assassin Suit Only - Agent 47 Approaching Club In His Suit

Silent Assassin, Suit Only is a difficult challenge that appears on every level in Hitman 3, requiring Agent 47 to complete his mission without putting on a disguise, being compromised, or eliminating any non-target. While Berlin doesn’t have the advanced security of Chongqing or the many restrictions of Mendoza, it’s still a challenging mission to perfect.

The large crowds on Berlin and the number of ICA agents in the level make it difficult for players to maneuver stealthily without a disguise, and a large number of targets means that staying uncompromised the whole time may be increasingly difficult with each kill. Understanding the ins and outs of the level, its locations, and its characters, though, will prove invaluable in completing this task.
