Trish Walker takes one step closer to being a superhero by fighting crime herself in new set photos for Jessica Jones season 2. Rachael Taylor became a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe a few years back by joining the cast of Jessica Jones for its first season. Her debut alongside Krysten Ritter made her the best friend to New York’s least interested hero, but the disinterest was not something the duo shared. In fact, much of Trish’s season 1 arc was to put her in position to one day (hopefully) take up a superhero mantle of her own.

For comic readers, they already know that she will one day become Hellcat if that arc is fulfilled. She’s done the training and experimented with dangerous pills in the past, and all of this has now made her capable of dealing with some street level criminals all on her own.

HawtCelebs has shared new set photos from season 2 of Jessica Jones, showing Trish take on at least one – but possibly multiple – bad guys. With Jessica’s other friend Malcolm (Eka Darville) also part of the scene, this could be a drug deal gone wrong for him that Trish must save him from. Not only is this one of the first times fans will get to see Trish fight for justice on the streets, but the yellow and blue color scheme of her outfit also hints towards her potentially suiting up herself.

There has yet to be any indication that Trish will eventually take up her superhero mantle of Hellcat, but she continues to move in that direction. She has already shown an interest in costumes by teasing the comic costume for Jewel in season 1, so it would be no surprise for her to one day get a costume of her own. Taylor has admitted before that she doesn’t want to get ahead of the story, deciding to wait and see whether or not she is given that chance. But, with the fighting abilities now on full display and great subtle teases of her possible color scheme, it is certainly not out of the question.

Outside of the potential for her to fully become Hellcat, Taylor has routinely been a part of the set photos that have come out for season 2. This could point to her having an even bigger role in the sophomore season of the series, allowing for showrunner Melissa Rosenberg to put even more of an emphasis on her female characters this season – including the potential main villain. What exactly is in store for Trish in season 2 is still unknown, but with her also part of The Defenders, the team up could help launch her arc and continued effort to be a hero.
