Heartstopper Season 3 Seemingly Adds Breakout Bridgerton Star To Cast

Heartstopper may have added Jonathan Bailey, who plays the eldest son Anthony Bridgerton in the Regency-era romance show Bridgerton, to the cast. The former title is a Netflix LGBTQ+ romance show based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Alice Oseman. It follows the love story of Truham Grammar School students Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) as well as the romantic lives of many of their friends. After season 1 became a hit in 2022, the show was renewed for two additional seasons, with season 2 premiering just over a year later.

On Instagram, a mysterious new account called Jack Maddox seems to be announcing that Jonathan Bailey will be playing a character of the same name in Heartstopper season 3. The account, which has since been made private, has a bio that reads “Scholar. Keyboardist. Racer. ‘Meditations on the Greek Complex’ is out now in all good bookshops.” The three posts made on the account show different poses of Bailey in costume holding a “Trans Rights Are Human Rights” sign and an ebook written by Maddox titled 10 Things I Hate About Plato.
