Halo Infinite Is Getting a Game Fuel-Style Rockstar Energy Drink

The release of Halo Infinite on Xbox and PC is only a few months away, and the tease of a promotional Rockstar Energy beverage signals that the game’s marketing machine is in full swing. The Halo franchise is no stranger to consumable tie-ins, with Halo 4 being promoted by Doritos and Mountain Dew products prior to its release, leading to a number of memes being shared at the game’s expense.

Master Chief apparently isn’t done selling energy drinks, as another similar promotion has been revealed. The official Rockstar Energy Drink Twitter account has revealed that October 1 will mark some kind of collaboration between the two brands, likely in canned form. It seems that Halo Infinite Rockstar Energy drinks are on the way and will be released before the game launches in December. It’s unclear if the Xbox game is getting its own special flavor(s), branded cans, or if the drinks will come with Halo Infinite codes like Monster Energy’s earlier promotion.

Originally set to released in 2020, Halo Infinite was infamously delayed and pushed out of the Xbox Series X/S launch window, and it’s now set to release in December 2021. Despite the delay, Halo Infinite was the subject of a Monster Energy promotional campaign, with players able to bank codes given away with branded cans which will be redeemable for in-game cosmetic items and boosts in the game’s free-to-play multiplayer.

Halo Infinite will be released for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on December 8, 2021.
