The Prize Ride Vehicle has been changed in GTA Online, and it takes a few unique challenges to unlock it. GTA Online recently introduced Los Santos to its newest update revolved around street racing and car enthusiasts. The Los Santos Tuners update provides players with a new area known as the LS Car Meet. Here, players are able to share their favorite vehicles with other players, modify them in real-time, and participate in new tracks for racing. This content brings the Grand Theft Auto series back to its roots of fast cars and proving the player is the best in the streets. With this update is the Prize Ride Vehicle where players will need to complete a special task in order to unlock a free vehicle. This guide will show players how they can unlock it.
For starters, players will need to have access to the LS Car Meet in GTA Online. Upon booting up the game, the player will receive a text message from a new character called Mimi. An “LS” icon will appear on the map located in the Cypress Flats region. When arriving, the player will need to spend $50,000 in order to have full access to this LS Car Meet and all of its new content. How To Unlock The Prize Ride Vehicle in GTA Online
After completing all the prerequisites, players will then need to complete the Prize Ride challenge. It’s important to mention that players will need to have a non-weaponized vehicle in their garage in order to participate. No tanks or planes for this one. Head over to the Interaction Menu and select the “Sprint” option. To win the Prize Ride Vehicle, players will need to win 5 Sprint Races this week. At least 1 other player will need to be present in order to complete this task. Sprint Races will task the player with lapping to a new location within the inner-city and racing back to the LS Car Meet. The player will just need to win 5 Sprint Races in order to unlock the Prize Ride.
The prize for winning is the Vulcar Warrener HRK which is valued at $1,260,000. Overall, this car isn’t anything too special and it’s ultimately about the glory of collecting this prize. Players can also sell it for $945,000 if they so please. The Prize Ride prize will likely change to something different within the next week so don’t miss out on the chance to grab it.
