GTA Online Glitch Gives Trolls Invisible Hoverbikes

GTA Online players have found a glitch that lets them turn the MK II Oppressor hoverbike invisible, making the overpowered vehicle popular with trolls an even more devastating presence in the game. The hoverbike’s steep price keeps it out of the hands of most players, but anything that makes it more powerful will be enough to ruin anyone’s time in Los Santos.

Even though there is a wide variety of vehicles available in GTA Online, the MK II Oppressor is by far the most dangerous. The Oppressor’s high maneuverability and incredible weapons loadout make it one of the most terrifying sights in the game. Nicknamed the “Boom Stick” by players because it looks a little like a flying broom stick from Harry Potter but with rockets, this may be one of the most over-powered items in GTA Online.

The MK II Oppressor doesn’t need any adjustments to be a deadly weapon, but players have found a way to give the hoverbike an extra edge, making it nearly impossible to beat. According to Dexerto, a newly discovered visual glitch in GTA Online can be exploited to make the bike invisible. When players spawn into the game, they need to load up the Rockstar Creator and then force an error message. When they do this, they are sent back to the game and back onto their bikes. If a player then boosts when back in the game, the glitch kicks off, and players are now invisible along with their bikes. Other players in the lobby might still catch the ghosts’ icon on the minimap, but won’t be able to actually see them, making it much harder to take one down.

It’s no god mode, and invisible players can still take damage like usual, but this is definitely one of GTA’s more chaotic glitches. GTA Online players are no stranger to glitches, and aren’t afraid to exploit them. Not long ago, players uncovered a glitch that spawned an aircraft carrier into a free mode session, which they promptly used to cause some shenanigans, and just a month or so after that, a glitch that made players invincible to NPCs surfaced, which luckily caused more fun than mayhem as other players in the session weren’t affected.

GTA Online has had a problem with cheaters and players trying to abuse the system since its conception, but this glitch takes the cake. An invisible MK II Oppressor and a dastardly sense of humor is the perfect mix to create a lobby with a wicked ruler who sits upon their hoverbike. Hopefully, Rockstar Games gets a fix up for this glitch soon, before the game dissolves into one big blindfolded battle.
