Roy Harper is Finally Reunited with His Daughter, Lian

Roy Harper and Lian Reunited DC Comics

Roy had Lian with his old enemy, Cheshire, aka Jade Nguyen. Despite her young age, Lian was quite gifted at throwing objects with the same accuracy and precision as her father. Unfortunately, Lian was tragically killed in the miniseries Cry for Justice when the villain Prometheus blew up Star City. Not too long after, Lian was erased from history completely after Flashpoint rebooted the DC Universe. But Lian mysteriously reappeared in the pages of Catwoman, now going by the name Shoes and occasionally working with Selina Kyle.

No matter how Lian came back to life, Roy Harper is clearly just happy to see his child again. Lian’s death crushed Roy, sending him into a spiral of anger, depression, and drug addiction. But Arsenal sought help and clawed his way back to normalcy. However, he was still missing something, especially once the timeline settled and DC’s heroes began remembering their previous lives. Roy has been hurting for a long time, and this reunion may be the thing that helps Arsenal move forward with his life.
