Gotham Knights: Every DLC Revealed So Far, Ranked (& How To Get Them)

Gotham Knights: Every DLC Revealed So Far, Ranked (& How To Get Them)

WB Games Montreál hasn’t even revealed their full DLC plan when it comes to Gotham Knights, but they have revealed some, and they are not typical DLC. Thankfully, the developers have already gone on record multiple times to confirm that the new superhero action RPG will not have any microtransactions.

From new cosmetics to actual gear to enhance combat in Gotham Knights, there is a lot that some players might miss out on if they don’t know how to get them, especially since a large portion of this content will not be featured in any sort of Season Pass or in the online store of the player’s choice.

233 Kustom Batcycle Skin

It’s unclear if other vehicles such as the Batmobile or the ever-show-stealing Batwing make an appearance in Gotham Knights, but the characters all have access to the Batcycle. If someone pre-orders any edition of Gotham Knights, they will get the 233 Kustom Batcycle skin.

This Batcycle skin keeps the high-tech design while giving it an old-school motorcycle flair, which is a common theme for Gotham City as a whole. It’s merely a cosmetic change, but it is a nice option for those who are not fond of the base design.

Gilded City Batcycle Skin

Coinciding with the release of Gotham Knights is the prequel comic book Gotham Knights: Gilded City which focuses on the last mission that the Bat-Family took on before the death of Bruce Wayne. Each issue will have an exclusive code to redeem for content in the game.

The first issue of Gilded City will reward the player with a white Batcycle skin, resembling the prototype skin for the now-iconic version of the Batmobile from Batman: Arkham Knight.

Gilded City Nightwing Escrima

Issue #2 of Gilded City will provide a new weapon for the gear system of Gotham Knights. Nightwing’s escrima sticks are redesigned with a steampunk flair, resembling rifles of the 1800s. This is rather fitting since Gilded City will also focus on a vigilante from that era known as The Runaway.

It has been confirmed that the next three issues will always provide weapons for the other Knights, but have not been revealed yet. It’s likely that they too will follow the same visual theme as the escrima. Perhaps Jason Todd, also known as Red Hood will wield dual flintlocks.

Gilded City Exclusive Colorways

In March 2023, DC will release the final issue of Gilded City and this issue’s code is confirmed to redeem four exclusive colorways for the Knights. Not only do the Knights have suits and gear to customize, but the overall load out for a character can have shader packs known as colorways that change the entire suit’s coloring.

The colorways for Gilded City have yet to be revealed. However, if the Batcycle skin is any indication, it could be white-themed colorways for each Knight.

Gilded City Exclusive Suitstyles

If someone collects and redeems the codes for all six issues of Gilded City, they will be rewarded with a new set of suits for the Knights. These will likely be 19th-century styled suits that give the Knights a steampunk look.

One of these suits was possibly revealed in a trailer for Tim Drake, the third Robin. Fans will likely be excited to see how characters such as Batgirl and Nightwing translate to this visual style.

KnightWatch Suit Style

Fans got a look at the many suit styles for the Gotham Knights and one of them was the KnightWatch set designed by famous DC artist Jim Lee. These suits quickly became a favorite in the community for looking straight out of the comics.

Unfortunately, this set will only be available for those that purchase either the Deluxe Edition for $90 or the Collector’s Edition for $300. So, players should keep that in mind when they go to pick their version to pre-order or purchase on launch day.

Deluxe Colorways

Another perk for getting the Deluxe Edition of Gotham Knights is exclusive colorways, three of them to be exact. These have not been shown yet, much to the frustration of those conflicted about getting the Deluxe Edition.

It can be theorized that since the Deluxe Edition has an overall golden color scheme, the colorways could follow. These colorways and any other Deluxe Edition perks will also be available in the Collector’s Edition.

Immediate Unlock Of The Beyond Suits

The Beyond suitstyle in Gotham Knights

These suit styles inspired by Batman Beyond will be available in any version of the game and can be unlocked through gameplay much like the many other suits in Gotham Knights. However, if a player wants to unlock the suits along with boosted gear from the start, there is an option for that.

Purchasing the Deluxe Edition will reward the player with instant access to the Beyond suit styles. This way players can embrace their inner Terry McGinnis and experience a DC cyberpunk adventure from the start.

Prometheum New Guard Transmogs

Like with most Collector’s Editions, Gotham Knights will come with figures and other fun items to enjoy along with all the perks of the Deluxe Edition. On top of all that, the Collector’s Edition will also feature its own exclusive set of suits for the Knights.

Fans of the base New Guard suits for the game will get a special version of those known as Prometheum New Guard transmogs. In the comics, Prometheum is the metal that Cyborg’s body is made from. So, fans can expect more metallic or even chrome versions of the New Guard style.
