The final two women from The Golden Bachelor have finally been revealed by Reality Steve. Gerry Turner was announced as the lead, earlier this summer, almost three years after ABC revealed there would be a senior’s Bachelor spin-off in the future. Gerry was immediately loved by the public as the reactions to his casting were nothing but positive.
On August 30, Reality Steve revealed, on Instagram, spoilers for Gerry’s season of The Golden Bachelor. He disclosed that Gerry’s final two women are Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist. Leslie, who is 64 years old, reportedly filmed her hometown date with Gerry on August 21.
Theresa, who is 69 years old, filmed her hometown date with Gerry a couple of days later on August 23. While the final two women were confirmed by Steve, Gerry’s final pick has yet to be revealed. Filming only started over the last few weeks, so Steve will likely give an update on who the winner is in the next week or so. The season is set to air on September 28, so ABC should be wrapping filming soon.
Golden Bachelor Is Currently Filming In Costa Rica
Along with Leslie and Theresa, Faith Martin, who is 60 years old, made it to Gerry’s final three. While Faith got a hometown date, she was sent home after Gerry finalized his top two women. Since Leslie and Theresa made it to the final two, they will get to meet Gerry’s family in Costa Rica, where they are currently filming. After they meet the family, the final two women will have a potential overnight with Gerry, similar to what they do in the regular Bachelor and Bachelorette series.
Steve revealed that the final rose ceremony will be filming on August 31, and Gerry’s final pick will be chosen. Besides the final three women, the rest of The Golden Bachelor cast has also been confirmed by Entertainment Weekly. The cast includes several amazing women over the age of 60 for Gerry to date, including Patty, the mother of former The Bachelor lead Matt James.
With the final two women revealed, it’s only a matter of time before Steve confirms who won over Gerry. The Golden Bachelor has been through a lot since losing his wife over six years ago, and now it’s time for him to enjoy life with someone new. Hopefully, Gerry found love with either Theresa or Leslie.
