Now, ahead of the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire release date in March, the movie’s MPA rating has been revealed. According to FilmRatings.com, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has been rated PG-13 for “creature violence and action.” This continues the trend for the Monsterverse franchise since every installment so far has received the same rating from the MPA.

The Monsterverse franchise has grossed $1.955 billion combined and The New Empire hopes to continue this success after Godzilla vs. Kong, released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max, broke several pandemic box office records by grossing $470 million.
