God of War Ragnarök Group Cosplay Assembles Kratos’ Friends & Foes

An amazing God of War Ragnarok group cosplay recently brought Kratos, Brok, Sindri and a Light Elf warrior together for a mythic photoshoot. The recently released sequel boasts a large cast of characters, with new allies and enemies joining a large roster of returning faces from the previous game. Many fans have already transformed themselves into iconic God of War Ragnarok figures, but one group of cosplayers has found strength in numbers.Cosplayer and Twitter user skathi_cos recently shared an impressive Light Elf cosplay that was shown off alongside various other costumed creators. The squad includes the masterful God of War Sindri cosplay created by MaryeLeFay, which is joined by an authentically blue Brok cosplay by dishycrafts. The costumed crew is complete with the addition of actor Olivier Richters as Kratos, whose swirling tattoos and impressive size truly embody the Ghost of Sparta. This cosplay meet-up, which took place in Belgium’s iconic Antwerpen-Centraal railway station, was apparently organized by Santa Monica Studios and involved a fun scavenger hunt for the Midgard team.Related: GoW: Kratos Low-Cost Cosplay Is Genius (But Probably Painful)

God Of War Ragnarok Inspires Mythic Cosplay Creations

God of War Ragnarök Group Cosplay Assembles Kratos’ Friends & Foes

God of War Ragnarok introduces many exciting new characters and enemies which help fuel the imaginations of fans and cosplayers. The game adds the Light Elves as an enemy faction, for example, with skathi_cos transforming into one of the sword-wielding warriors complete with glowing eyes and a golden headpiece. Another God of War Ragnarok Light Elf cosplay was recently shared ahead of the sequel’s launch, with this project instead capturing a more regal robed form of the Alfheim residents. The project, crafted and worn by MaryeLeFay, was even photographed among nature to simulate the beautiful scenery found in Alfheim’s lake. By comparing the Light Elf cosplays made by MaryeLeFay and skathi_cos, fans can truly appreciate how the faction evolved between 2018’s God of War and its sequel.

While the Antwerpen-Centraal photo shoot includes several notable figures from the game, God of War Ragnarok protagonist Atreus is sadly missing from the group cosplay. Kratos is never found too far from his demigod son, and an official God of War Ragnarok cosplay guide can help fans capture the mischievous archer’s iconic look. The guide details the materials and colors needed to become Atreus, going into detail on props like his bow and mistletoe necklace. The cosplay guide includes tips on becoming Kratos, too, and even covers the wise decapitated head Mimir.

A group cosplay session, organized by PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio, is a perfect way to celebrate the recent launch of God of War Ragnarok. The impressive lineup reunites Kratos with Brok and Sindri, while also throwing a gorgeous and deadly Light Elf warrior into the mix. Antwerpen-Centraal is a long way from Midgard, but this merry band of God of War Ragnarok cosplayers seems well-equipped for the journey.
