Players are able to seek out merchants throughout the world and pay for them to add augments to their various outfits. These designs only require that the player is in possession of specific flowers needed to create the dye.
Collecting flowers isn’t difficult. Players should take a moment to pick as many flowers as possible as they travel throughout Tsushima. Flowers can be picked from horseback, so players don’t even need to stop in order to grab them. Along with crafting materials and iron, flowers are an important resource to collect.
Finding the Black Dye Merchant in Ghost of Tsushima
The Black Dye Merchant can be found in the Eastern Toyotama region. For this reason, players will not be able to reach this merchant from the beginning of the game. This merchant is hidden within the wall of a mountain. They reside within a dark cave lit by a few torches. Talk to this merchant to dye previously owned armor sets black.
Finding the White Dye Merchant in Ghost of Tsushima
The White Dye Merchant is luckily available from the very beginning of the game. The only thing separating players from this merchant is the long distance that must be covered in order to get there. The merchant is located to the west of Wanderer’s Pass. They reside in a scenic home at the top of a small mountain, contrasting greatly with the home of the Black Dye Merchant. Players can trade flowers with this merchant to dye their armor pieces white.
