In case the internet’s explosion of excitement towards Disney Plus (stylized as Disney+) wasn’t apparent, it’s finally here. Disney reported 3.2 million users launcher their Disney+ app within the first day. That’s quite a few people.
Disney, as one of the biggest and most respected entertainment giants, has doubled down on creating a perfect streaming service for everyone. We’re talking all of the Avengers, Jedi vs Sith, and Disney Channel content that you could ever want in one convenient location. The list of available programs is absurdly long, from classics such as Bambi to Kim Possible and Avengers: Endgame.
And with a bevy of original content, including the recently released The Mandalorian and live-action Lady and the Tramp, Disney has promised to pour into these programs with budgets and finesse that could easily give Netflix a run for its money. Upcoming original shows include Hawkeye, Wandavision, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And that’s not all, as future Marvel and Star Wars movies such as The Rise of Skywalker will be released on Disney+ as well.

While content will be kept to a PG-13 maximum on Disney+, Disney was smart enough to find ways around that.
