Genshin Impact: How to Unlock The Full Enkanomiya Map

Genshin Impact: How to Unlock The Full Enkanomiya Map

Enkanomiya is a vast new area in Genshin Impact 2.4 with plenty to explore, yet some Travelers may run into trouble trying to unlock the full map. No matter how much players venture about the isles, the region remains dark when viewed on the world map. As a result, completing quests and navigating the general area may be unnecessarily challenging. Fortunately, this issue in Genshin Impact can be resolved with a simple action from the player at a specific point during the World Quest, “From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku.”

On the other hand, those who have yet to enter Enkanomiya will need to gain access to the area first before unlocking the zone’s map. To travel to Enkanomiya, players must first complete the two World Quests, “The Moon-Bathed Deep” and “The Still Water’s Flow,” respectively. Keep in mind that these two quests will not become available until after the player has reached Adventure Rank 30 or higher and finished Archon Quest “Chapter 2: Act 3 – Omnipresence Over Mortals.”

Once players use the whirling pool in Watatsumi Island to access Enkanomiya, “The Entrance to Tokoyo,” the first objective in the “From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku” series, will begin. The quest starts with the Traveler and Paimon being transported into a mysterious cave. To progress, Genshin Impact players must search for clues about the area and use the Key of the Moon-bathed Deep to open a giant door leading to the rest of Enkanomiya.

At this point, the player can freely explore the isles in Genshin Impact, yet Enkanomiya will not materialize on the world map until reaching a certain point during “The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent,” the next quest after “The Entrance to Tokoyo.” During Part 1 of this extensive World Quest, players come upon another large locked entryway within a ruin. A strange mechanism sits in front of the giant door, and once the player draws near, enemies will spawn, ambushing the Traveler and their party. Once the minor adversaries have been taken care of, the player will need to figure out how to open the door and venture deeper into the ruins.

To complete the quest segment “Examine the mechanism and open the great door” in Genshin Impact, players must attack the Triangular Mechanism when its cube glows yellow. The entryway will open, and players will be able to continue into the structure and up the stairs to the second floor. Upstairs, the Traveler and Paimon will encounter an NPC named Enjou, who will provide information about the region. After the dialogue ends, approach the engraved map on the nearby wall. Finally, to unlock the full map of Enkanomiya, “Investigate” the inscription on the wall, and the world map will display all of Enkanomiya.

Genshin Impact is available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC.
