Genshin Impact 3.3 will introduce the 4-star sword Toukabou Shigure and obtaining it will be possible for a limited time only. The weapon is noticeable by its design, which resembles an oil-paper umbrella. The sword’s pattern seems to be a one-eyed oni showing its tongue.

Genshin Impact‘s Toukabou Shigure sword will have some decent stats as a free weapon offered by developer HoYoverse. Aside from boosting outgoing damage against opponents marked by its skill, its bonus effect increases Elemental Mastery. This makes it a great weapon for characters who rely on triggering reactions, while an additional perk is the leeway to choose which Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact to provoke, as it is not bound to any specific elements.

Where to Obtain Toukabou Shigure in Genshin Impact

Acquiring the 4-star sword Toukabou Shigure in Genshin Impact should be rather easy for players who have played the game for a while and are mostly up-to-date with the action RPG. First and foremost, they must be Adventure Rank (AR) Level 30 or above and have completed the following quests: “Ritou Escape Plan”, a part of Archon Quest “Chapter II: Act I”, and Arataki Itto’s “Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I – “Rise Up, Golden Soul”. This will enable them to start Akitsu Kimodameshi, one of the many confirmed events for Genshin Impact 3.3.

According to HoYoverse in an official post on HoYoLab, if Itto’s quest has not been completed, the event can still be initiated through a “Quick Start” option on the in-game event page. With the prerequisites fulfilled, players can tackle the event, which will present “two new Leisurely Pastime and one new Shatterdark challenges will be available upon the first, third, and fifth days of the event.” Completing these challenges and the quest attributed to the event will grant players multiple rewards, including the Toukabou Shigure sword in Genshin Impact and its respective weapon refinement materials.

The Akitsu Kimodameshi event will also offer players many Primogems during Genshin Impact 3.3, along with Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, and the rare and useful Crown of Insight. Many of the rewards will be claimable through the Courage Test Tickets granted by the event. These will disappear after the event gameplay period ends, so all desired prizes should be obtained before that happens.

This event happens between December 15 and January 2, 2023, and offers players a chance to get the new 4-star Toukabou Shigure sword in Genshin Impact. In the meantime, players should have their hands full by playing the card game Genius Invokation TCG, completing this version’s Archon Interlude Quest, and also grinding Primogems to obtain one of the four confirmed characters in Genshin Impact 3.3, a patch that should go well into mid-January, followed by 3.4 and the subsequent release of two new characters.
