Genshin Impact: Best Character Builds For Dori

Genshin Impact: Best Character Builds For Dori

One of the newest characters introduced in Genshin Impact is named Dori. She is a 4-star Electro claymore wielder, making her the third character of this type after Razor and Beidou. Despite the stiff competition, Dori can find her place in parties as one of Genshin Impact‘s support characters. She isn’t the best at doing damage on her own, but with many excellent main DPS characters in the game already, it’s not a problem. Dori helps others do their jobs even better. If players get a few duplicates of her to unlock spots in her Constellation, she will undoubtedly be a lot more powerful. Still, she works well even without any points in her Constellation.

Dori is odd character, especially when it comes to some of her interesting and unique attack animations, particularly involving her claymore. She hails from Genshin Impact’s newest area Sumeru, is a merchant of rare items, and is the owner of the Palace of Alcazarzaray. Dori was first introduced when the Traveler and Paimon sought out a knowledge capsule in Chapter III of the Archon Quests. Canned knowledge is illegal to sell, possess, or use by decree of the Akademiya. However, Dori has several for sale, indicating she considers the risk worth the cost of doing business.

Likely players will end up having Dori act as a battery. She can recharge the Elemental Bursts of other characters. For those who have been playing the game for a while and already have characters properly outfitted and deal a lot of elemental burst damage, Dori is the perfect companion. She also can heal other characters, keeping them in the fight longer.

How players equip her and what talents they focus on depends on knowing Genshin Impact‘s best team comps for Dori. Still, there is one build that makes her shine the brightest.

Genshin Impact: Dori’s Best Artifacts, Weapons, & Talents

Genshin Impact: Best Character Builds For Dori

One of Dori’s most powerful abilities in Genshin Impact is providing support with her Elemental Burst, Alcazarzaray’s Exactitude. This is the talent that players will want to level up first. She summons a Jinni, which drops a lamp on the ground that persists for a time. It can heal the current character by an amount based upon Dori’s own HP. It also regenerates energy, and affects enemies caught in the connector with Electro damage. Players can use Dori’s Elemental Burst and then switch to their main DPS character to deal even more damage, especially with the right Elemental Reaction like Hyperbloom or Electro-charge.

When selecting Genshin Impact‘s best Artifact sets for Dori, players want items with a high energy recharge rate. The goal is to use her Elemental Burst as much as possible. A strong option is to use the 2-piece bonus for the Emblem of Severed Fate, which increases energy recharge by 20%. Using the 2-piece bonus for Tenacity of the Millelith is good too because it increases HP by 20%. It helps in healing other characters and makes Dori more survivable. Use both 2-piece bonuses, and then for the fifth artifact use something which gives more energy recharge. Using the 4-piece bonuses of Emblem of Severed Fate or Tenacity of the Millelith are nice and can work well. However, having both 2-piece bonuses is effective in helping Dori in her role as a support character.

One of the best claymores in Genshin Impact for Dori is the Favonius Greatsword. Players can pull this 4-star weapon from wishes. Its special ability is named Windfall, which gives critical hits a chance to generate elemental particles, allowing players to get their burst abilities off that much more quickly. It’s good at rank 1, but if players can refine it, there is a greater chance for the ability to occur, and with less of a cooldown. Other good options for claymores that Dori can use include Forest Regalia or The Bell. Forest Regalia most notably increases energy recharge, and The Bell increases HP and generates a shield that helps keep Genshin Impact parties alive.
