Genshin Impact: All Reputation Rewards & Requirements

Genshin Impact: All Reputation Rewards & Requirements

Reputation is a system that was added to Genshin Impact recently after the game’s launch. Each different region of Teyvat has its own reputation, so players will need to gain reputation with every region if they want all of the rewards. Some of the rewards are very worth the player’s time and the requirements to start are not tedious.

Reputation is a separate point system in Genshin Impact. To get all of the rewards a region has to offer, the player will have to raise their Reputation Level to the maximum, which does take a good amount of time. Players can raise their Reputation in Genshin Impact with a specific region by doing different kinds of tasks, like doing side quests and exploring the region. There are also weekly Bounties and Requests that players can do to earn a good amount of Reputation.

For every region in Teyvat, the Adventure Rank requirement to start gaining Reputation is AR 25. However, each region has its own quest that the player must complete in order to unlock the Reputation for that specific region. Once the Reputation feature has been unlocked, players will be able to accept weekly Bounties in Genshin Impact (an opponent at a specific location) and Requests (short quests, usually a delivery), claim their Reputation EXP for side quests and exploring, and check their Reputation Level and rewards.

Genshin Impact: Mondstadt Reputation and Rewards

Genshin Impact: All Reputation Rewards & Requirements

As well as the AR 25 requirement, there are two quests that the player will need to complete to unlock Reputation in Mondstadt. The first is the Archon Quest, “The Outlander Who Caught The Wind,” which is a part of the game’s prologue and main story. When this quest is completed and the player is AR 25, they will automatically receive the quest “Knight of the Realm,” which is the prerequisite quest for Reputation in Mondstadt. Once this quest is complete, Mondstadt’s Reputation system will be unlocked.

When Mondstadt’s Reputation is unlocked, players will be able to talk to an NPC called Hertha whenever they want, who is located in Mondstadt and is the quest giver of “Knight of the Realm.” By speaking to her, players can claim any Reputation EXP from any side quest or exploration-related requirements in Genshin Impact they have already met, as well as accept weekly Bounties and Requests. Players will also be able to check their Reputation level and claim any rewards.

Mondstadt’s Reputation has 8 levels, and each reward is something that can only be earned through gaining the required Reputation level for Mondstadt. Reputation Level 1, which the player starts at, awards the player with a cookie recipe for Northern Apple Stew, which is a blue-rarity recovery type dish. This recipe is easy to make, so it’s a good starting reward.

Level 2 has two different rewards, the first is a pattern to create an Anemoculus Resonance Stone, which can be crafted via alchemy in Genshin Impact at a crafting bench. This Stone is consumed on use to show the player a general location (a large circle on the map) of an Anemoculus that the player has not already collected. The second reward is the Mondstadt Mining Outcrop Search, meaning that the player can talk to the blacksmith at Mondstadt and will have a new dialogue option where the blacksmith will mark the player’s map on the locations of outcrops of Crystal Chunks and Magical Crystal Chunks. These outcrops respawn daily.

Level 3 Reputation awards the player with a Diagram to craft a Wind Catcher, which is a Gadget that can be crafted by the blacksmith. This Gadget allows players to collect Anemograna, and use the charges whenever they want to create a wind current that lasts for 9 seconds. This makes gliding even more accessible in Genshin Impact. Level 4 Reputation has 3 rewards for the player. One is a unique Namecard titled “Hero’s Fame,” the second is a recipe for Adventurer’s Breakfast Sandwich which is a purple-rarity attack boosting dish, and the third is Mondstadt Merchant Discounts, which gives the player a permanent discount on the cost of items that they purchase from Mondstadt General Goods and the restaurant Good Hunter.

Level 5 Reputation awards the player with a Diagram for another unique Gadget, the NRE (Menu 30). This Gadget can also be forged and can store one HP recovery food and one Revival food that the player can use while in combat.  Level 6 Reputation awards the player with 2 rewards. The first is yet another Diagram, this one for the Gadget Anemo Treasure Compass, which makes finding chests in Genshin Impact easy, since it will point the player in the general direction of the closest chest when used in Mondstadt, and the second is Instructions to craft Portable Waypoints, which is an item that places a Waypoint wherever the player pleases, and it will remain in that spot for several days.

Level 7 Reputation has two rewards for the player. One is another Namecard, this one titled “Mondstadt: Blessing,” and the other is another recipe, this one is for Moon Pie, which is a purple-rarity defense boosting dish. And finally, Reputation Level 8 awards the player will a unique glider: the Wings of Azure Wind. The player will also receive the “Megastar in Mondstadt” Achievement, which awards 20 Primogems in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: Liyue Reputation Rewards

Just like Mondstadt, Liyue has two quests that must be completed in order to unlock the ability to gain Reputation in Genshin Impact. The first is the Archon Quest, “Farewell, Archaic Lord,” which is part of the main story, as well as the World Quest “Ministry Missions” which is Liyue’s equivalent quest to “Knight of the Realm.” Again, the player must be AR 25 to receive the “Ministry Missions” quest.

The system to gain Reputation in Liyue is the same as Mondstadt but offers different rewards. At Reputation Level 1, which the player will automatically start at, the player will receive the Recipe for Golden Shrimp Balls, which is a blue-rarity Revival type dish. At Level 2, similar to Mondstadt, the player will be awarded Instructions to craft Geoculus Resonance Stones, used to find uncollected Geoculus around Liyue, as well as Liyue Mining Outcrops, which awards the dialogue option with Liyue’s blacksmith for locations on these Outcrops.

Reputation Level 3 awards the player with arguably the best Reputation reward in the game: Instructions to craft Condensed Resin. This allows the player to convert 40 Resin into a Condensed Resin, which can be consumed inside Domains to receive double the rewards. The max Condensed Resin a player can hold is 5. Reputation Level 4 has three rewards to offer the player. The first is a Namecard, “Liyue: A Thousand Ships.” The second is another cooking recipe, this one is for Lotus Flower Crisp, which is a blue-rarity defense boosting dish, and a good one to cook in Genshin Impact. The third is Liyue Merchant Discounts, which like Mondstadt, gives the player a permanent discount on items bought from Liyue’s stores Wanmin Restaurant and Second Life.

Reputation Level 5 gives the player a Diagram to forge a new Gadget, the Adepti Seeker’s Stove. This Gadget is practically a portable stove, meaning that the player can place it down and cook wherever they wish. However, there is a catch, the Gadget will automatically disappear from the player’s inventory when it is used, so the player will have to craft another. Reputation Level 6 rewards the player with another Diagram, this one for the Gadget Geo Treasure Compass, which will show the general location of the nearest chest in Genshin Impact to the player when used in Liyue.

Reputation Level 7 rewards the player with two items, the first being another Namecard, titled “Liyue: In the Clouds,” and the other being another cooking Recipe, this one for Tianshu Meat, which is a purple-rarity attack boosting dish. And lastly, Reputation Level 8 rewards the player with a unique glider, the Wings of Golden Flight. The player will also receive the “Legend in Liyue” Achievement that awards 20 Primogems.

Genshin Impact: Inazuma Reputation Rewards

Genshin Impact Gardening Changes Inazuma 2.0

Inazuma also has two quests that the player must complete in order to start gaining Reputation in Genshin Impact. The first of these quests is the Archon Quest “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia,” which is part of the main story, as well as the World Quest “The Commission’s Commission,” which is the Inazuma Reputation prerequisite quest. The player must be AR 25 to receive “The Commission’s Commission.”

Just like the regions Liyue and Mondstadt, Inazuma offers unique rewards for climbing Reputation Levels, but what makes Inazuma unique from the other two regions is that it has 10 Reputation levels instead of 8. At Reputation Level 1, the player will receive the Recipe for Konda Cuisine, which is a blue-rarity Revival type dish. At Reputation Level 2, the player is rewarded with two furniture blueprints, “Pines Awaiting the Twilight” as well as Stone Lantern: Fudoumyou’s Light. The player also unlocks Mining Outcrops in Inazuma, which unlocks a unique dialogue with Inazuma’s blacksmith to find the location of Inazuma Mining Outcrops, which will have Amethyst Lumps instead of Crystal Chunks.

Reputation Level 3 awards the player with a Naku Weed Seed, which unlocks a short quest. After completing the quest, the Seed Dispensary Gadget is unlocked, which allows players to acquire seeds of the plants throughout Teyvat and plant them in their Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact. At Reputation Level 4 the player is awarded three rewards: a unique Namecard, “Inazuma: Kamisato Crest,” a Recipe to cook Rice Cake Soup, a blue-rarity defense boosting dish, and the Inazuma Merchant Discount, which permanently gives the player a discount on items bought from Shimura’s and Tsukumomono Groceries.

Reputation Level 5 grants the player the Red Feather Fan Gadget, which will increase the player’s gliding movement speed by 30% for 30 seconds, which is useful for crossing gaps like large bodies of water. Reputation Level 6 rewards the player with two furnishing blueprints. These are for the Long Yumemiru Table and the “Tea-Wisp-Clouded White Couch.” Reputation Level 7 awards the player with another Namecard: “Inazuma: Raiden Emblem,” as well as another cooking Recipe for Butter Crab, which is a purple-rarity attack boosting dish. Level 8 rewards the player with Instructions to craft the Electroculus Resonance Stone, which is a consumable that will reveal the location of an uncollected Electroculus. Level 9 gives the player the Diagram to forge the Electro Treasure Compass, which will show the player the general location of the closest chest to them when used in Inazuma. Finally, Reputation Level 10 rewards the player with the unique glider, Wings of the Stormstrider. The player will also receive the “Illustrious in Inazuma” Achievement that grants 20 Primogems.

Even though Reputation in Genshin Impact can be a very grindy and time-consuming process, especially in Inazuma due to the extra 2 levels, a lot of the rewards make the effort worth it, like the Condensed Resin recipe from Liyue. Sumeru, like the previous regions, will likely have similar rewards like recipes and furniture, but it will be interesting to see what kinds of Gadgets the Sumeru Reputation will reward the player. Sumeru will also likely have a deep green glider as its final reward, which is something that players can look forward to with Sumeru’s addition to Genshin Impact.
