Gen V Episode 4’s Cameo For Long-Awaited The Boys Character Gets Deceptive Tease

Gen V Episode 4’s Cameo For Long-Awaited The Boys Character Gets Deceptive Tease

An upcoming cameo in Gen V episode 4 will feature a long-awaited character from The Boys, getting a deceptive tease ahead of the episode’s arrival. The new spinoff revolves around a group of Supe students at Godolkin University learning that Vought is conducting experiments beneath the school in a facility called the Woods. Plenty of characters from The Boys have made cameos so far, including A-Train, The Deep, and Ashley Barrett.

Now, Gen V has teased the arrival of Tek Knight in episode 4, a long-awaited character from The Boys comic.

The tongue-in-cheek post teases “nothing but wholesome things” from the Supe, who will make his onscreen debut in Gen V. However, those familiar with The Boys comic know Tek Knight isn’t a very wholesome character.

What Will Tek Knight’s Role In Gen V Be?

Gen V Episode 4’s Cameo For Long-Awaited The Boys Character Gets Deceptive Tease

In The Boys comic, Tek Knight does not have any superpowers from Compound V, instead having designed a suit of armor to fight crime in. However, Tek Knight suffers from sexual psychosis, as he tries to have sexual relations with everything from other people to inanimate objects. Given the “wholesome” tease for his appearance in Gen V, it’s possible the TV version of Tek Knight will suffer from the same affliction.

With five episodes of Gen V left, introducing Tek Knight in episode 4 could indicate he has a major role to play in the series. Much like Andre’s father Polarity, Tek Knight might know about the Woods and be involved in the experiments Vought is conducting. This may explain why he hasn’t had a prominent role in The Boys yet, as he may be too busy overseeing the Woods to cross paths with Butcher and the others.

Since Gen V revolves around the Woods facility as its biggest mystery, Tek Knight’s appearance could answer questions about what the Woods is for and why it’s beneath Godolkin. His appearance may also set up storylines for The Boys season 4. With Tek Knight set to appear in the next episode, his role in the spinoff will soon become much clearer.
