Game of Thrones’ Jorah Actor Is A Ruthless Villain In Operation Napoleon Exclusive Clip [EXCLUSIVE]

Arnaldur Indriðason’s bestselling thriller novel is making its way to the screen in an exclusive Operation Napoleon clip. The movie centers on an ambitious lawyer as her efforts to clear her brother’s name land her in equal danger as she is accused of a crime she didn’t commit and must figure out how a German World War II plane wreck in an Icelandic glacier is at the center of it all. Vivian Ólafsdóttir leads the Operation Napoleon cast alongside Dracula‘s Jack Fox, Game of Thrones‘ Iain Glenn, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Atli Óskar Fjalarsson.

In honor of the movie’s arrival on digital platforms, Screen Rant can exclusively present a new Operation Napoleon clip. The video, as seen at the top of this article, sees Ólafsdóttir’s Kristin turning the tables on Glen’s villainous William Carr as the cargo plane they’re on begins crash landing. With the plane continually unstable, the two fight over a gun and a knife in the hopes of getting the upper hand on the other.

Game of Thrones Was Not Even The Start Of Glenn’s Popularity

Starring in all eight seasons of the HBO fantasy show, Glenn is better known to some for his role as Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones. Acting as the closest confidante of Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys, audiences were moved by the unrequited relationship that evolved between the two characters throughout the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s iconic novels, even in the divisive final season which saw him die in the Battle of Winterfell.

Despite this acclaimed role, though, Game of Thrones was hardly even the tip of the iceberg for Glenn’s mainstream popularity on both the big and small screen. Prior to the HBO show, the Scottish actor had already been part of two major franchises in the form of Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, portraying the main antagonist in the 2001 original movie, and the Milla Jovovich-starring Resident Evil movies as maniacal Umbrella scientist Dr. Alexander Isaacs. Glenn also lent his talent to multiple episodes of Doctor Who and Downton Abbey just prior to joining the Game of Thrones roster.

Arguably his biggest roles to follow his tenure as Jorah have been his recurring role as Bruce Wayne on Titans as well as his leading turn in Prime Video’s supernatural thriller The Rig. With Operation Napoleon, Glenn looks to be harking back to his Tomb Raider and Resident Evil performances, being unafraid to get his hands dirty in his quest to unearth the secret of the mysterious World War II plane wreck at the heart of the movie.

Operation Napoleon releases on DVD and On Demand on November 7.
