The Galaxy Watch 4 has landed, and in typical Samsung fashion, there are multiple pre-order deals available to make the new wearable as affordable as possible. This year’s Galaxy Watch comes in two distinct styles: the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The former has a distinctly minimalistic and clean aesthetic, whereas the latter is a bit more luxurious. Combine those two unique designs with powerful specs across the board, and the Galaxy Watch 4 lineup could be Samsung’s best smartwatch showing to date.
Whenever talking about a new Samsung gadget, pre-order information is one of the most important things to discuss. This is something Samsung has become pretty famous for over the past couple of years. Almost every company offers some kind of pre-order bonus with a new release, but Samsung often goes the extra mile to make its deals among the best out there. With the recently announced Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, for example, Samsung’s offering up to $200 in credits for its online store.
Luckily, that pre-order love also carries over to the Galaxy Watch 4 series. As a quick recap, the regular Galaxy Watch 4 starts at $249.99 for the Bluetooth-only model and goes up to $299.99 for the LTE variant. For the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, pricing starts at $349.99 for Bluetooth and $399.99 for LTE. If someone pre-orders any available models between August 11 and August 26, they’ll receive a $50 Samsung credit for use on a future purchase. Samsung notes that the offer is only available “while supplies last,” and that the credit must be used by November 9, 2021. Furthermore, the $50 credit only applies to “accessories and wearables” purchases. Regardless, it’s still a free $50 that effectively brings the baseline Galaxy Watch 4 down to just $200. Additionally, if someone trades in an eligible device, Samsung offers an instant discount of up to $185 off.

Buying directly from Samsung is likely the best route for most shoppers, but that’s not to say there aren’t other pre-order offers out there. Another great option is to buy via Amazon. The Galaxy Watch 4 is available for the same $249 starting price, but Amazon throws in a free Fast Charge Pad Duo accessory that can be used to wirelessly charge two devices simultaneously. For people who prefer Best Buy, pre-ordering the Watch 4 will score them a free $50 Best Buy gift card for use on any future purchase.
Then there are all of the carrier deals. For AT&T customers, the carrier has a pretty sweet BOGO deal that may be worth taking advantage of. If someone buys one Galaxy Watch 4, they’ll get another one for free. There are a few catches to this promo, however. Both watches need to be purchased on a “qualifying installment plan,” they must be LTE models, and they need to be used with active wireless service. Other carriers have their own deals, too. At T-Mobile, the Galaxy Watch 4 is available for free (on a 24-month installment plan) when adding a new line of DIGITS service. If someone would rather buy the Watch 4 Classic, T-Mobile customers can buy one and get another for free (again with monthly installments and a new DIGITS line). Verizon offers up to $150 off the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic when buying either with a new smartphone.
In other words, there are ample ways to purchase the Galaxy Watch 4 without having to shell out too much cash. For most people, it’s probably best to buy from Samsung, Amazon, or Best Buy. Getting a free credit or accessory is as easy as buying the watch — no trade-in or service line required. All of the carrier deals are a bit complicated, but for people on those networks who can easily meet the requirements, they’re still worth checking out.
