Future All American Spinoffs Addressed By Showrunner After CW Overhaul

All American showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll has opened up about the possibility of more spinoffs for the franchise following The CW’s recent content overhaul. In 2023, Nexstar acquired a majority stake in The CW, leading to a plethora of content shifts that resulted in the end of many TV series. However, All American and its spinoff, All American: Homecoming, were granted more seasons by the network.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about All American season 6, Carroll revealed there is interest in possibly more spinoffs in the franchise. However, the major focus right now is on the series that are currently airing, making sure their stories are as strong as they can possibly be. Check out what Carroll had to say below:

I’ve been talking to the studio about some possibilities, so the ideas are there, and the interest is definitely there. We’ll see what happens, but right now our focus is on the mothership and Homecoming, and really seeing these characters through. But the beauty of this world and the universal story and the pursuit of what is seemingly the impossible dream for the Black community, that is endless.

More to come…
