Funko Announces New FNAF Figures (With Creepy Removable Faces)

Funko is releasing a new range of collectible Five Nights At Freddy’s figures with a brand-new feature: creepy removable faces that look like a perfect fit for the animatronics. FNAF Funko plushies and figures are popular among fans, and include designs not only based on the original bloodthirsty animatronic models, but even non-canon tie-dyed ones and soft toys. The success of the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise has encouraged a lot of collectible merchandise both official and fan-made. Although the animatronics were solely antagonists in the games leading up to the latest release, Security Breach, their iconic designs and the debated lore behind them have led enemies like Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie, and Chica to become fan-favorites in the horror genre. Funko even has a FNAF tabletop game releasing soon that will allow players to take the role of the terrifying animatronics in order to capture the security guard.Related: Best Animal Crossing FNAF Island DesignsFunko announced the upcoming FNAF Snaps! figures on Twitter, along with images displaying the collectibles. The new Snaps! line will allow all parts of the vinyl figures to be interchangeable and each one comes with two faces and a unique accessory. Bonnie and Foxy will be available individually, while two sets including Golden Freddy & Springtrap and Toy Bonnie & Baby will also be available. The Funko drop also includes two playsets: one with Chica in the storage room and the other with Freddy on stage. The collection will release at mass retail locations and on Funko.com in early September. As seen in the image, fans will be able to use the figures’ included interchangeable parts, removing the characters’ faces for additional horror.

New FNAF Funko Pops Have Interchangeable Parts

FNAF‘s fanbase is very dedicated and most of the replies to Funko’s tweet about the new figure release are extremely positive, with most already declaring they are ready to spend their money on the newest Five Nights At Freddy’s figures. Although Freddy and the gang are terrifying in-game, there’s no doubt they’ll look impressive on collectors’ shelves. The additional interactive element of being able to switch out parts of the figures is also perfectly aligned with the characters as a whole, as each one can turn from normal to menacing when attacking a player in-game.

While players are still working out the complex Security Breach fan theories and waiting on previously-announced DLC that will expand the unfortunately lowest-rated game in the series, the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise is far from losing relevancy. From extremely impressive cosplays, fan art, fan-made games, and FNAF mods in the hyped title MultiVersus, it seems that Five Nights At Freddy’s is in every corner of the internet. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for the beloved franchise.
