Meanwhile, Frieren reminisces about a present Himmel gave her, which is a ring with the same symbol. While it is slightly ambiguous, it is implied that Himmel knew what it meant and gave it to her as a romantic gesture, making their unrealized relationship an even more tragic part of Frieren’s immortality.
