Forza Horizon 5 has done an incredible job of including iconic vehicles from different franchises in the game. One of them happens to be the DeLorean from Back To The Future, which was made available to players during the first week of the Festival Playlist. In addition, there are other special vehicles in Forza Horizon 5 that players can unlock, including the Warthog from the Halo Series.
To drive the DeLorean in Forza Horizon 5, players can still acquire the vehicle from the Festival Playlist by spending points. However, there is a cheaper way to purchase the iconic car without spending valuable points. It’s worth pointing out that the DeLorean in Forza Horizon 5 cannot be won from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin which makes unlocking the car even harder. The only other way players can get their hands on the DeLorean is by splurging in the Auction House.
The usual way to unlock the DeLorean requires players to spend 26 points in the Festival Playlist. Even though the DeLorean is an iconic car to own in Forza Horizon 5, some players might find the cost a bit too expensive. Players looking for an affordable way to unlock the DeLorean can use this incredibly easy glitch to complete their car collection. Not only does the glitch save time, but it also costs just 15,000 credits to purchase the vehicle.
The DeLorean Exploit in Forza Horizon 5
Unlocking the DeLorean in Forza Horizon 5 is relatively easy and can be accomplished in a matter of seconds. Here’s how players can use the exploit to unlock the vehicle:
- Head over to the Car Collection tab and select “DeLorean” under manufacturer. There should be an empty spot that is reserved for the vehicle.
- Back out from the menu if there isn’t a button prompt to purchase the car.
- Instantly go back into the Car Collection tab. There will be an option at the bottom left prompting players to buy the DeLorean.
- Buy the DeLorean for 15,000 credits as soon as the option is available.
There are several glitches being discovered in Forza Horizon 5 that reduces the grinding time for players. One of these glitches lets players farm infinite XP in Forza Horizon 5 using an AFK method. It’s worth mentioning that the developers might be aware of the DeLorean glitch and could be working on a fix. However, at the time of this writing, the DeLorean glitch still works in Forza Horizon 5.
