Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan is set to star in A Spy’s Guide to Survival, a feature film written and directed by Warrior Nun creator Simon Barry. Brosnan portrayed the famous MI6 agent across four movies in the franchise, a major part of his decorated acting career. He has continued to have major roles across several film genres in the following years, though he is still best remembered for his role as 007.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Brosnan is going back to his roots as a spy with A Spy’s Guide to Survival, a feature film directed and written by Barry, best known for creating Netflix’s Warrior Nun. The upcoming movie is based on an idea from Barry and his father, and will be the creator’s first feature film, in partnership with Passage Pictures.
