A new Dune: Part Two description teases a missing character from the film and a potential change from the book. The Denis Villeneuve sci-fi sequel will continue the story of Paul Atreides as he teams up with Chani and the Fremen on a quest for vengeance against those who destroyed his family. Dune: Part Two is set for release on March 1 and stars a leading cast of Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem.
After conversing with Villeneuve, Time reveals a description for a missing Dune 2 character that may indicate a change from the book. The piece describes one key character as “an embryo who advises her mother from the womb.“
