Fire Country season 2 introduces a big new casting, which could spell trouble for Bode and Gabriella. Debuting in October 2022 on CBS, and co-created by the trio of Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater, Fire Country focuses on Bode Donovan (Thieriot), a convict with a troubled past. To redeem himself and shorten his prison sentence, he volunteers for Cal Fire. Along with former friends, fellow inmates, and elite firefighters, Bode has to help with putting out the fires that plague the region.
TVLine reports that Dynasty actor Rafael de la Fuente has joined Firee Country season 2. He’ll play Diego, who is described as a charming and motivated paramedic and firefighter, in addition to a combat vet who served in Afghanistan. Diego will train Gabriela (played by Stephanie Arcila) for her paramedic certification. The two will reportedly hit it off, which could make Bode worry.
